Location
Despite being in central London Marylebone retains a quaint village feel to it. The shops vary from designer clothing, antiques, books, musical instruments, a fishing shop and one of the best cheese shops in London! On a Saturday you can wander round the weekly Cabbages and Frocks market on the grounds of Marylebone Parish Church, with stalls selling everything from handmade jewellery to organic macaroons. Oxford Street is at the south end of Gloucester Place with Selfridges and all the big name retailers. Behind Selfridges is the Wallace Collection, where as well as serving a fine cream tea, you can see one of the world’s largest collections of French 18th century artworks and paintings displayed in this Georgian town house.
If you’re keen to find some of London’s green spaces then Regents Park is right by the apartment. This huge park has 410 acres of green space and is also home to London Zoo, a large boating lake, a 100 acre sports field and an open air theatre. For more sport, Lords Cricket Ground is just up the road from the apartment and where you can see test match cricket or even the Ashes series. Lords also hold tours around the ground when the matches are not being played.
You really are spoilt for choice when it comes to eating out in Marylebone - how about the uber cool Chiltern Firehouse restaurant where you can sit and spot celebs or for simpler fare head to the Natural Kitchen, with a deli and cafe; they also do super healthy take away food. There are plenty of pubs and bars to choose from as well, such as Purl, a speakeasy type bar where you can try a cutting edge cocktail or for a more straight-forward English pub go to The Duke of Wellington on Crawford Street.

Marylebone tube is a few minutes from the apartments on the Bakerloo line, from here you can get to Piccadilly Circus and the West End theatres.
