Head into the town centre and you’ll notice the mix of old and new architecture, with the modern Willis building not far from some of the town’s oldest buildings. The Ancient House is in the town centre and dates back to the 15th century, alongside high street brands. And if it’s shops you want then Ipswich has something for everyone with lots of independent stores and two shopping centres in the town. You can see performances from big name comedians and musicians at the Ipswich Regent - East Anglia’s largest theatre is situated on St Helen’s Street. If you fancy seeing the best independent and world cinema releases then the Ipswich Film Theatre is the place to go, housed in the Corn Exchange on King Street.

  • Ipswich Train Station is only a ten minute walk away from the apartment, trains depart here every hour for London Liverpool Street. The nearest airport is Norwich Airport, 45 miles away and there are daily flights to Aberdeen and Amsterdam.
