We had booked to stay for one night as were going to a concert at the Ricoh Stadium. As instructed we called the company 3 hours in advance to let them know our time of arrival (we hoped to arrive mid-afternoon to give ourselves time to eat and get ready and were advised check-in was after 2pm) only to be told that the apartment was being cleaned and wouldn't be ready until 6.30pm. Had we not called ourselves I assume the company wouldn't have informed us of the problem.

On arrival the cleaners were still in the apartment and we were told by the person who met us - without any apology - that the previous tenant had been a long-term tenant and had vacated the apartment late, hence the delay. If a long-term tenant had left that day why then rent it out for the same night? Despite the efforts of the two cleaners the apartment was disgusting with stained carpets and stray hairs. The apartment appeared to be in student halls which were pretty grotty and smelly with offensive graffiti in the stairwells.

Although the apartment was well-equipped (even cereal and milk in the kitchen), well-located for the centre of Coventry and relatively inexpensive it was not value for money for the quality of the accommodation. I wouldn't recommend staying here and felt customer service was poor.

The apartment is OK it is very central and in a lovely location however the apartment is nothing like the photos dirty walls, carpet filthy, i was told a cleaner would come and clean once a week I've now been here 3 weeks and haven't had a cleaner come once, bedding has not been changed, floor not hoovered i was told i would have wash up myself and take the bins out which is fine but i would at least expect clean bedding as I'm here 3 months (i will be making a phone call tomorrow to get bedding changed as its unacceptable) the lady who meets you at the apartment is nice enough seems she is doing everything herself, microwave was broke but she replaced it the same day. overall good location but serviced apartment to me is serviced not left with same bedding for 3 weeks

Property was in a good location and better than a hotel when you have small children, only down side is the up keep and maintanance is poor, carpets need a good clean and the walls were in need of a re paint. but would use again.

When I read up the facilities that came with this flat, I read there will be wi-fi. I got there and the lady couldn't find the broadband box. I later found it and connected it but it didn't work. I text her and she said she'll call the provider which she said she did but that they had network issues. I think they should have made alternative arrangements cause if I had been there for business, I would have lost money because I won't have communicated with my partners.

However, the lady was a very warm person.

The entire carpet was wet when we arrived. There were only 2 clean towels that were available for use and the lady that assisted us told us to use the towels once they were out from the washing machine. However, there was no dryer to dry the towels. This has resulted in us having to share the towels. When we informed the lady of all these issues, she was not willing to address these issues and insisted that they were changed and there were sufficient towels. At checkout, she complained that we made the carpet dirty. However, it does not take you long to figure that if the white carpet is wet it is only normal that there will inevitably leave marks from the wheels on the luggages which have been rolled on the dirty floors. Though it was a great location and had great reviews, the interior and service provided was disappointing.

The lady who represented the company (I think it was called 'G&D' or 'GD' something) was lovely and very helpful/flexible. The apartment itself was clean, nicely presented and right in the city, seconds from the Cathedral. I usually rent apartments instead of booking hotels when I travel. This was the best ever apartment I have rented because so much thought was put into the resident's needs. Usually, you have to buy in the basics (tea, milk, coffee, sugar) which is a pain if you're staying only a couple of nights or so. This was provided along with cereal so I was even set for breakfast the next day. This is the first time I have ever given a review where the subject received top marks but they are well deserved.

Reason for low score on comfort, was due to the noise level from outside and other residents in the building. Also it was a shame the shower was tiny considering the bathroom was spacious.

It is a good location and the secure car park makes it good value for money. The car park space does require a refundable deposit which isn't stated anywhere when booking, so is something to bear in mind.
