  Eton lies on the opposite side of the River Thames to Windsor, which can be reached on foot in less than 10 minutes.  Nearby attractions include Windsor Castle, the largest and oldest inhabited castle in the world and where the Queen often resides at the weekend.  Legoland is less than 15 minutes away by car and for those who love the great outdoors, then a visit to Windsor Great Park and the miles of footpath and towns and villages along the River Thames path is a must-see.
