From here you can wander up to Donmouth Local Nature Reserve and Royal Aberdeen Golf Club. Nigg Bay offers coastal walks and features a golf club on the south side of the ferry port. If you have access to a car, why not venture into the countryside and explore Craigievar Castle, which dates back to 1626 and appears to be a true fairy-tale castle.
