Champs Elysees Apartments by Bridgestreet

This property was cheap and shabby. The decor awful and cheap. The kitchen was fine but the bathrooms were grotty, the shower curtain rail kept falling down, the floor looked dirty as did the tiles. There was one small lamp in the living area and two lamps in the bedroom. The outside screen for the blind in the bedroom didn't work.

While I wouldn't rate this as my best rental experience in Paris, there are mitigating circumstances. We only needed a unit for 1 night as we were leaving the next day. And it was during the French Open, a notoriously difficult time to rent space or hotels.

The service from the company could not have been any better. Yes, it is a tad complicated to pick up the key and them travel to the apartment, but as long as you paid attention to the agreement it really isn't too difficult.

The unit itself was a little disappointing. The furniture was minimal and very industrial hotel like. After having stayed in a number of apartments in Europe over the past month, this unit wasn't really up to the standards I had experienced. However, as I said it was a time I was lucky to be able to book any apartment, much less one in a great location.

And these apartments are in a GREAT location. A couple of minutes walk to the Champs Elysees, you simply couldn't get a better location.

Overall, I would recommend this company. However, the quality of the units vary a great deal, so my only real complaint is that you have no control over the quality of the final unit you stay in.

Champs Elysees Apartments by Bridgestreet

Very pleasant and roomy apartment in good area. Only concern was the archaic plumbing - no toilet or shower for final day so had to trek to cafe for facilties. Citybase staff very understanding and helpful and compensation offered eased the inconvenience and my wife still enjoyed her 'special' birthday

everything was very convenient - the instructions (when received) were clear and we had no problems. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Champs Elysees Apartments by Bridgestreet

The apartment on Avenue Victor Hugo was fantastic. We had a spacious two-bedroom with a balcony view of the Arc de Triomphe. It was in a lovely, non-touristy neighborhood, with grocery shopping near-by and a usable kitchen. It was definitely great value for the money compared to a hotel room.
