This popular, modern nightspot has a wonderful and touching history which gives the whole place an extra special feel to it.

The tale of Miss Jones is actually the story of two sisters with that name. Born in the early 1900’s the two sisters, Dorrie and Pauline, were part of a family with 9 children. In order to make a living for themselves they bought Forest Farm Dairy. They went on to buy the building the bar now occupies, where they ran an ice cream parlour and tea rooms until 1996. The two sisters lived together their whole lives – neither one marrying. Their brother ran a butchers in Pentyrch and it is this butchers that now supplies the meat for Miss Jones the bar!

You’ll find great quality good, fabulous cocktails and brilliant service at Miss Jones, guaranteeing you a memorable visit.
