£500

  • Centrally located in the impressive Citadel Building, these Aberdeen apartments give you easy access to the shops, bars and restaurants on Union Street also known as the ‘Granite Mile’, as well as the harbour and city beach. Perfect whether you’re in the city on business and need somewhere central and spacious, or whether you’re staying for a weekend and are keen to explore the city on foot.

Inside the apartments the decor is light and modern with plenty of room to relax, and with free WiFi you’ll be able to work from the apartment too. The kitchen is well equipped and provides all you need to cater for yourself. Comfortable bedrooms and a smart bathroom with a power shower complete the home from home experience.

    • Check in is from 15:00 and check out is by 10:00, Monday - Sunday
  • You won’t need to get in your car when you stay at the Hansen Residence as the city’s best shops, bars, restaurants and attractions are all a short walk away from your doorstep. Union Street is nearby with the big brand retailers as well as independent boutiques. There are plenty of cuisines from around the world to choose from as well as your pick of bars and cafès. If you’re keen to learn about the history of the city then head to Shiprow, one of the oldest roads in the city dating back to 1281, where you’ll find the Maritime Museum, and discover Aberdeen’s industrial links to the sea. Next door is the Merchant Quarter with The Green at its centre, dating back to medieval time. This was an important entry point into the city and now is a fashionable shopping area and live music venue. Not far from the apartment is the city beach, worth a walk along the promenade for a blast of fresh sea air, and where you can sometimes spot seals offshore. Further up the coast you can try you hand at the famous golf courses that Aberdeen has to offer, including the Royal Aberdeen Golf Club, venue for the Scottish Open in 2014.

  • With such a central location much of the city can be accessed on foot, with bus and taxi routes linking the rest of the surrounding suburbs. Aberdeen’s train station is ten minutes walk away on Guild Street, next to Union Square, and the bus station is next door on Union Square. Aberdeen’s airport is a 20 minute drive away and can be reached by taxi or bus, here you can travel on to destinations including London, Manchester or Birmingham.

The Hansen Residence

The only positive thing I have to say about the apartments was that the location was excellent for what we wanted to do with our weekend. The apartment itself was completely filthy. There was even remnants of the previous guests food left in the kitchen sink! The apartment is in need of personal touches eg. cushions, pictures etc. Will not be staying here again.

I LOVE THIS APARTMENT BUT I WOULD LOVE A LONGER STAY IN ANY CITYBASE APARTMENT AS THEY ARE LOVELY AND TOP SERVICE CANT COMPLAIN ABOUT ANYTHING AS ANY QUERIES WERE DEALT WITH SWIFTLY AND DISCREETLY, QUALITY AT AFFORDABLE PRICES FOR A WEEK AND I LOVE THE CITY CENTRE LOCATION ALTHOUGH THE STAIRS ARE A BIT OF A KILLER FOR ME AS I HAVE REALLY BAD HIPS WOULD LOVE A GROUND FLOOR ON ONE LEVEL WITH MORE BEDROOM SPACE.
