Approximately 30 miles west of New York lies Florham Park in the South East of Morris County. This is an unassuming town with a strong community feel. Its biggest claim to fame is that it is home to the New York JETS American football team, who train in State of the Art facilities. Being less than an hour’s drive to the buzzing city of Manhattan, there are a plethora of top attractions within easy reach, without being in the thick of it all. Or a little closer to town, Morristown, just a few miles to the East. Here you will find the beautiful Frelinghuysen Arboretum and Acorn Hall historic house museum.
To the north of Florham Park are Hanover and East Hanover, where you will find a number of interesting museums and arts centres. This can also be a nice alternative for dining out if you want a night off from cooking in your apartment. If you’re travelling with children, Florham Park have a great children’s museum. Imagine That is aimed at pre-school and young children. The museum encourage learning by play and encourage interaction with its exhibits.
