Daytime/ day trips 

Located at Filton is the Aerospace Bristol. This is a great place to take the whole family and get them involved. For a family day out filled with activities and interesting facts, the Aerospace Bristol is a great choice. 

Bristol Cathedral is known alone for its magnificent architecture and beautiful interior. Visiting the Cathedral alone is reason enough to come and explore Bristol. 

Tyntesfield is a Victorian house and estate near Wraxall. As a historic house that has survived centuries, Tyntesfield provides the opportunity to get hands-on with history through workshops and outdoor science. With a yummy café and restaurant onsite too, you can easily spend the whole day exploring the lands and enjoying the time with the family. 

The Forest of Dean is ideal for getting out into nature and enjoying some fresh air. Travel around Symonds Yat Rock and Puzzlewood for some great family fun time. To leisurely take in the the whole of the forest, we recommend the Dean Forest Railway. This way you are able to enjoy a delightful meal while travelling around the forest by train.

Nightlife 

Nightlife in Bristol is renowned for being some of the best in Britain. With a university in the centre and amazing bars and clubs around every corner, it’s no wonder Bristol has a fantastic clubbing scene. A local suggestion that many recommend is the Thekla - a boat that is also a club! Known for its lively atmosphere and great music, this is a must visit venue when staying in the city of Bristol. 

Bristol’s nightlife is fantastic, but sometimes all you need is a great meal and a classic musical to indulge in. One of the best places to catch some outstanding live theatre is the Bristol Old Vic. Just around the corner from the Old Vic is the Bristol Hippodrome, another great location to see musicals such as: The Lion King, The Book Of Mormon and Beautiful-The Carole King Musical.  

Food and drink 

Fancy a juicy burger during your stay? Then Chomp is the place for you. The company started off as a mobile burger van but soon became a big success which led to the opening of their restaurant in 2014. Since then they have taken over the Bristol burger scene. With great prices and great food, you can bring friends or family to enjoy their delicious burgers. 

Arguably the best vegan restaurant in Bristol is the Koocha Mezza Bar. Not only is it a sit down restaurant but if you love your serviced apartment and just don’t want to leave the house, then you can arrange food to be brought to you via Deliveroo too. With delicious Persian style food designed to explode with flavour, this food appeals to everyone.
