Apartment was clean and spacious. Huge supermarket five minutes walk away, a family pub/restaurant just around the corner, buses into the heart of Edinburgh from the doorstep, and in a very quiet seafront location.
Will be staying here again next time we visit Edinburgh!
Essentials at the apartment all good - comfy beds, good shower, plenty of hot water, heating level fine, kitchen serviceable etc. Also nice views to Royal Britannia and city of Edinburgh. However, it lacked some of extra touches we've found in other Citybase properties - minimal crockery, sparse bathroom products etc. Also some cosmetic issues at the particular apartment we were in - big hole smashed in one of interior doors, cracked tiles in bathroom, crack in shower tray, peeling paint at back of washbasin, stained carpet in living room etc. This probably varies a lot between apartments in the block though. We probably would stay again - good value for money compared to properties in Edinburgh centre. This location only 15 mins out of centre; family day ticket on bus only £7.50; buses every 10 mins.

The flat is looking a tad tired, a coat of paint is needed and the windows were filthy. Overall it was good value for the cost & in a great position.
I was travelling with a group of friends for Hogmanay and we opted for these appartments - usually preferring hotel accommodation. On arrival we were welcomed by lauren the receptionist who was friendly throughout. The Appartments are fantastic - clean , spacious, excellent facilities (cooking utensils / fridge / freezer / dishwasher). The bathroom and ensure were modern and the showers with excellent pressure. In all the Appartments offer a modern and relaxing feel - with a real sense of comfort . Unlike a hotel where often the only place to relax is the bed - the apartments offer accommodation that feels like a home away from home - with the added bonus of serviced daily. I can not praise this place enough!!
We were very pleased with the property. We arrived after 8pm, took a taxi from Waverley which cost £10.00. Getting in was very easy following instructions. Apartment warm, spacious, clean and comfortable with leather sofas and TV/DVD. Had all electrical goods but not much crockery. No cereal bowls, no cafetiere. Apparently this is all being remedied. Asda one bus stop away or 10 mins walk. Bus terminus outside block. Buses frequent and reasonably priced though You will need correct money, so have plenty of change. Very please with experience of staying here.
An excellent base. Clean, tidy and generally well cared-for. For the money you can't go wrong.
We stayed her for the weekend with another couple. It was ideal having two double rooms & two bathrooms. Good facilities & location. Easy access to city centre with bus stop directly across the road & only 15min journey. Overall would use again.
Was delighted with the no smoking policy (being a family of non smokers) but to be honest when entering the apartment it smelt like the previous tenants had done nothing but smoke in the apartment. The only other comment I could make would be that it could do with a lick of paint and some smaller breakfast bowls would have been nice.
