With many years in the industry, we believe our team are the perfect fit for helping you find your dream accommodation. Cape Town is one of many locations in which we have a fantastic selection of serviced apartments to choose from. With hundreds of raving reviews to our name, you can trust that you’ll be safe in our hands.

What is a serviced apartment?

A serviced apartment can be considered a few things; however, the main aim of a serviced apartment is to be the hybrid of a hotel and a house. With a range of added benefits from both a hotel and a private rented residence, a serviced apartment offers the best of both worlds:

• In the luxury of your own space, just like a home, you have multiple rooms to relax in and unwind. Whereas a hotel has a limited amount of space, a serviced apartment offers you the comfort of having more than one area to unwind in.

• Having a fully equipped kitchen and living room provides you an area for the family to cook and relax the way you would as if you were at your home. With the added freedom of the kitchen, you don’t have to worry about sticking to a time schedule that a hotel might provide for meal times.

• With the complete flexibility to customise your experience, a serviced apartment is a more suitable option for all types of travelling. Having the opportunity to have added benefits such as an onsite fitness centre and gym to pet friendly accommodation and onsite parking.

Things to do in Cape Town

Table Mountain

Table Mountain is one of the most visited attractions in Cape Town. With the most fantastic views from the top, to the magical botanics that inhabit the island, Table Mountain really is as beautiful as it seems.  By cable car or hiking, you can make your way up one of Cape Town’s most visited attractions. Cape Town weather can be rather unpredictable so it’s always good to remember to pack for all weathers when travelling up Table Mountain.

Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden

Situated on the slopes of Cape Peninsula is the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden. With over 2,500 species of plants, there is much to see and do here. Why not take the children to the Cycad amphitheatre where there are life sized dinosaurs and African stone sculptures? After all that walking, if you haven’t packed a picnic you needn’t to worry: there are plenty of delicious places to grab a bite to eat before you head off on your next adventure.

Seal Island

A small island that is located 5.7 km from False Bay, near Cape Town. The Island received its name due to the overwhelming number of seals that inhabit the land. With the opportunity to take a boat tour around the island too, there is plenty to do around the area. With the boat trips ranging from £15 for adults and £10 for under 14s, the boat trip makes for a lovely day trip out for the whole family.

Boulders Beach Penguin Colony

As one of Cape Town’s many beaches, Boulder’s Beach is located in the Cape peninsula. The name originates due to the beach being made up of inlets between granite boulders and vast amounts of penguins that live there.

Restaurants in Cape Town

The Pot Luck Club sits just off Albert’s Road and is known for its tasty tapas dishes. With a local buzz and chilled out theme to the place, you can relax and unwind while enjoying some insanely delicious Patatas bravas - not to mention the incredible view overlooking the whole of the city. You’ll want to stay for ever in this tapas heaven.

Transportation around Cape Town

Walking

One of the best ways to truly experience the city is by foot. With the ability to walk from landmark to landmark, you can take in the entire city while walking. With the opportunity to take a free walking tour around the city, Nielsontours has three tours a day which you can tag along on.

By bike

A proactive and exhilarating way to travel around the city is bike riding. With many places located around the city where you can rent bikes for good prices, it’s a great way to get the family up and out and exploring the city in an exciting way.

Uber/ taxi

A taxi is possibly the easiest mode of transport around the city, however not necessarily the cheapest. The ease of having an app that you can order a ride to your door is a sensible option for when there is bad weather, and for short journeys around the town, pricing may not be that bad.

On the other hand there are the local Rikki’s taxis available pretty much wherever you wander. Although prices aren’t provided before the journey, a taxi is another easy choice when the weather isn’t exactly going to plan.

My CiTi bus

Cape Town’s modern and scheduled bus service that provides bus journey all around the city; my CiTi bus is an affordable way to travel around the city. These buses don’t accept cash and each person would need to buy their own ‘myconnect’ card on which you can upload money and use on all the bus routes. You will even be able to use the same card if you intend to return to the city.
