      Stockholm continues to feature amongst the best cities in the world. It’s right up there with likes of Toronto and Melbourne, scoring highly for quality of life in a number of areas. It offers great spots to photograph, wonderful parks to visit, excellent places to shop, not to mention world-class restaurants. Being a green city, it’s very cycle friendly. You can ride a bike just about anywhere in Stockholm, including Djurgården and Hagaparken. For a great boat tour of the city, head to the Stockholm Canals.

      During the course of your journey you’ll encounter many interesting buildings and come away with some excellent facts. Stockholm has many cool islands that you can visit like Långholmen and Långholmen. Långholmen is particularly good for picnics or swimming. Stockholm’s Royal Palace is a must-visit tourist attraction and doubles as a museum. The Vasa Museum is equally interesting and teaches you a lot about Sweden’s maritime history. Restaurant wise, you’ve Magnus Ladulås, and a Wedholms Fisk - which does fabulous seafood.
