The capital city of Norway, Oslo is situated next to the Oslo Fjord which stems from the North Sea. At approximately 453 square kilometres it is one of the largest cities in the world. A large part of the city is actually made up of forest making it a very natural and scenic place. The city also boasts a great mix of old and new architecture, top class museums, and a vibrant nightlife. It is a great place to go if you have a love of the outdoors, if you visit during the winter months it’s not out of the ordinary to even spot a moose or two!
