      Jordaan is one of Amsterdam’s coolest neighbourhoods, rich in art, history and fine cuisine. Its tree-lined streets boast beautiful homes and first-class eateries like La Oliva and Restaurant Vlaming. Culture lovers can pay visit to the Houseboat Museum, which invites visitors to climb aboard a 1914 freighter turned houseboat. Lindengracht market is based in Jordaan and definitely checking out if you’re into fresh fish, cheese and beautiful bouquets. Westerstraat has a similar market that runs every Monday morning. There are many great drinking establishments in the area. Bar Oldenhof ,for example, offers fantastic cocktails and doubles as a jazz club.
