For city centre shopping Manchester Arndale Centre is one of the best, and actually one of the largest city centre shopping centres in Europe. Redeveloped in 1996 after the IRA Manchester bombing it is now home to over 240 shops including several flagship stores such as Next, Marks and Spencer and Topshop.
The centre has a large food court as well as many restaurants and coffee shops perfect for refuelling during a busy day of shopping. With everything from the Arndale market stalls, supermarkets, high street brands, department stores and luxury boutiques there really is something for every taste and budget.
Right in the centre of Manchester, the Arndale centre is easy to get to, there are several car parks close by plus it is within walking distance of Manchester Victoria and Manchester Piccadilly train stations.
