Max House Apartments - London Commercial Road

I would have preferred being closer to London central but it was full due to Wimbledon so I ended up in Limehouse. The DLR is a Hong Kong quality train connection - driver-less, Trains arriving nearly every 2 minutes it seemed, so it doesn't matter that you are not on the underground. The station is literally two leaps and bound from the apartment. The bedding and kitchen were excellent and the room sound proofed with double glazing so you don't get distracted by the busy road. Best of all, you are two doors from a Tesco. Chill out with a TV dinner and a cold ale - easy. Limehouse isn't Paddington - its not pretty - but if you are there to work this place is about as functional as you could ask for short of having a vibrating chair.
