Edinburgh International Climbing Arena

Perfect for advanced climbers or beginners wanting to try climbing out Edinburgh International Climbing Area has hundreds of routes suited to all levels. EICA is actually Europe’s largest indoor climbing arena and offers everything including abseiling, aerial assault, archery, fitness classes, kids play area, gym and team-building activities.

Located in the west of Edinburgh in the village of Ratho the building is set in the former Ratho Quarry about 8 miles from the city centre. Parts of the rock face of the quarry even remain inside the building as a climbing wall.

It is possible to book courses and training sessions as well as arrange group activities such as hen or stag trips.
