Location

The apartments are in a prime location in the centre of Manhattan. Within very easy reach are a wide range of sights and attractions New York is famed for. Just minutes away is the popular Rockefeller Center, home to a variety of eateries, shops and entertainment venues, particularly the famous ice rink. Broadway, Times Square and Central Park are all close by as are a number of world renowned museums, galleries and departments stores. The Empire State Building is nearby which, as the tallest building in New York, offers impressive views over the city.

Travel

New York benefits from an extensive transport network with bus, subway and ferry systems. The subway is one of the best ways to get around being fast and cheap and running for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Despite its reputation it's fairly easy to navigate and quite safe. Subway maps are displayed in trains and pocket maps are available at stations. The nearest stations are 7th Avenue and 49th Street.

Taxis are a good way to get around, they are reliable and in abundance and of course no trip to New York would be complete without a ride in one.

New York is home to three major airports: JFK, Newark and La Guardia. La Guardia is the closest to the apartments, approximately 10 miles away. JFK is about 18 miles away.

Grand Central Station is nearby providing services to other major cities.
