Location

The apartments are located on Sheikh Zayed Road, one of the major streets in the city and home to a number of Dubai's iconic skyscrapers including the Burj Al Arab. The Mall of the Emirates, a huge mall with world-class shops, restaurants, multi-screen cinemas and the famous Ski Dubai, is just steps from the apartments. Dubai Internet City, Dubai Media City, Dubai Knowledge Village and Jebel Ali Free Zone are all nearby and a number of shopping malls, golf courses, galleries and night-spots are within easy reach.

Travel

The car is the most popular mode of transport in the city. Air conditioned taxis are readily available and can be hailed from the street or pre-booked over the telephone. Basic wooden boats known locally as "abras" cross the creek between Bur Dubai and and the Al-Sabkha station. A metro system is due to open in 2009 and the Al Barsha Metro Station will be just steps from the apartments.

Dubai International Airport is a short drive away.
