Two Bedroom Apartments are equipped with two double beds and can sleep up to four people. In addition, parking is included with this apartment type.

Situated right in the heart of Newcastle, the 55 Degrees North Apartments are just a stone's throw away from an abundance of bars, restaurants and nightlife. There are several major shopping areas nearby, including the Eldon Square shopping centre and Northumberland Street, and entertainment venues including the Metro Radio Arena Newcastle, Newcastle City Hall and the Theatre Royal. Newcastle Central train station is approximately five minutes' walk away, giving access to both main line services and the Tyne and Wear Metro. There is an extensive bus network with frequent services, and taxis are available locally. Newcastle International Airport is approximately eight miles away. Booking Procedure
The 55 Degrees North Apartments can be booked in exactly the same way as a hotel: simply complete and submit the secure online booking form. As well as your exact apartment requirements, you’ll need to supply your credit card details on the booking form. This is essential for the booking to be made.

Please Note: Upon arrival you will be asked to provide the same card details with which the booking was made.

Credit Card Charges
For bookings received 14 days or less prior to arrival, your card will be charged in full at the time of booking.

For bookings received more than 14 days prior to arrival, your card will be charged for 30% of the total accommodation costs at the time of booking.

Please note that there is an additional charge of 3.5% for payments made by credit card. There are no additional charges for payments made by debit card.

Payment
For bookings received 14 days or less prior to arrival the full amount will be payable at the time of booking.

For bookings made more than 14 days prior to arrival, the remaining 70% will be payable 14 days prior to arrival.

Should payment not reach the apartments within the stated time, the apartments reserve the right to cancel any booking made and any deposit paid will be forfeited.

Security Deposit
For weekend stays a security deposit of £200 is required. This must be authorised on a credit card (not debit card).

No security deposit is required for short midweek stays or long stays, however, you may be asked for an authorisation of your credit card upon arrival to cover any incidental expenses.

Extensions and Alterations
If you wish to extend your stay, seven days notice is required, otherwise your apartment may be re-let. Extensions are subject to availability and rate change.

If you wish to alter your booking, you will be obliged to pay any additional expenses incurred as a result of the alteration. In addition, the apartments may, at their discretion, charge an amendment fee of £50 plus VAT to cover administrative costs.

Check-In & Check-Out Times
Check-in is from 16:00 and check-out is by 10:00.

Short Stay availability
Please note that availability for stays of 2-6 nights can usually only be confirmed within 14 days of the arrival date.

Minimum Stay
For stays at the weekend there is a three night minimum stay requirement.

Cards Accepted
55 Degrees North Apartments accept the following card types: American Express, Electron, Maestro, Master Card, Visa Credit, Visa Debit.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be confirmed in writing. Where cancellations are received less than eight weeks prior to arrival, the apartments reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of £250 and any accommodation charges to which they have committed in respect of that reservation. Any refund of accommodation charges is made subject to the apartment being re-let.

No refunds will be made for non-arrivals.

In the event that a guest needs to check out prior to the agreed departure date, the apartments will make every effort to refund the accommodation charges for the remainder of the stay. However, any refund will be subject to the apartment being re-let and will be subject to a cancellation charge of £50.
