The apartments offer easy access to Newbury Racecourse, which hosts horse racing throughout the year and also offers conference and event facilities. The town centre offers a range of local amenities, including high street shops, a twice weekly open air market and a range of restaurants and bars. Newbury railway station is within easy reach, providing main line services to a range of destinations including Reading and London Paddington, and there are convenient local bus services throughout the area. The apartments offer easy access to the M4 motorway, and London Heathrow Airport is within one hour's drive. Booking Procedure
The Pelican House Apartments can be booked in exactly the same way as a hotel: simply complete and submit the secure online booking form. As well as your exact apartment requirements, you’ll need to supply your credit card details on the booking form. This is essential for the booking to be made.

Once your booking has been made, the apartments will send you a credit card authorisation form which must be returned in order to confirm payment. A photocopy of both sides of the card and a copy of one form of photographic ID is also required.

Credit Card Charges
Your card will be charged in full at the time of booking.

Please note that there is a surcharge of 3% for all payments made by credit card. There is no surcharge for payments made by debit card.

Payment
Payment will be made prior to arrival (see above).

Security Deposit
No security deposit is required. However, you will be asked for your credit card details upon arrival to cover any incidental expenses.

Check-In & Check-Out Times
Check-in is from 17.00 and check-out is by 11.00.

An earlier check-in time may be available upon request. Please contact us for details.

Pelican House Apartments accept the following card types: American Express, Diners Club, Master Card, Switch/Maestro, Visa.

Cancellation Policy
For stays of 1-6 nights, notification of cancellation must be received at least 4 days prior to the date of arrival in order to avoid a cancellation charge equal to the total cost of the stay.

For stays of 7-28 nights, notification of cancellation must be received at least 7 days prior to the date of arrival in order to avoid a cancellation charge equal to 7 nights' stay.

For stays of 29 nights or more, notification of cancellation must be received at least 21 days prior to arrival in order to avoid a cancellation charge equal to 7 nights' stay.

For longer stays and relocations, it is often possible to obtain rate reductions, depending upon the availability and the length of stay. We will always do our very best to offer you the lowest available rate possible.
