Me and my girlfriend stayed in a grande studio for one night which was absolutely perfect as we had all the essential necessities that you would expect of a top 4* hotel with much more including internet access through a brand new 30inch screen apple mac. Only downside was the cost of parking which was at a discount of £12.50 down from the usual £18. However i suppose that has to be expected from somewhere located in the heart of a city such as manchester. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a similar short stay with a partner or a slightly longer stay on your own. Extremely pleased and would definitely use citybaseapartments.com again!

On arrival i was inpressed with what i saw, the reception look amazing and when walking to my room the corridoors looked fantastic so as you can imagine i was pretty looking forward to seeing my room but when opening the door i was quite disappionted as the room didn't look like the pictures that i saw on the website(maybe there are rooms there like the ones i saw on the web but i just didn't get one) Although the room was still nice i was still disappionted as i had upgraded myself to the Grande suite and imagined it would be really really nice. The bed was lovely and big but had dents either side obviously from where other people had slept, i know this is reality of an apartment/Hotel but i still dont like to be reminded of this as i lay in dents formed by other people.
Aside from this the room was well equipped with everything you needed and the double shower with 2 sun shower heads was especially nice. And the Apple Mac PC's was also a really nice touch.
The reception staff were very friendly and always happy to help and the location was fantastic, china town was just a stones through away and only a couple of minutes walk to the shopping centre.
I would definately recommend this to people but would just say manage your expectations of your room when judging it against the pictures on the website.
