Apartment was fab! Very spacious and comfortable . Only downside was that the en suite shower did not have really hot water coming out - it was just warm so I think there was just something wrong with the temperature of the water in that bathroom as everywhere else was fine

Excellent facilities with friendly and helpful staff. The pre-booked breakfast was certainly value for money with plenty of food to go around!
We will definitely stay there again and would recommend to anybody!

Really enjoyed my stay, There were two slight disadvantages. I was told upon arrival that because I didnt book as a group booking my rooms wouldnt be together?? The option wasnt put to me to say it was a group booking and I was asked for a name to cover each room? Strange! So we were on seperate levels even though I had spend £734 on the rooms! Quite obvious to me that this is a large group! Also the next day we arrived at Breakfast a 10:45am only to find nothing was left and they would cook anything else, therefore prople who only had a hot drink as there was no food left had to pay a full Breakfast price of £8.95 for a tea or coffee. Apart from these problems I would stay again, I would stop for breakfast though.

Stayed for 2 nights with my 3 grown up daughters, a friend & her daughter. loved the whole apartment. Just one small niggle....there were 6 of us and only 4 chairs at the dining table - we wanted to sit round the table on the first night & have a nice meal together. we had to call to ask for a further 2 chairs but they never arrived. So 2 of us actually ate our meal whilst standing at the table as we thought the chairs would be delivered within a few minutes.. not very relaxing. We also had to call for help as the fire door from the lift area to the apartments had been locked from the other side. We had to follow a member of staff up the stairs across the length of the floor and down the other side!!
Otherwise The Place was amazing, and we would stay again!

great stay, spacious fun, large beds, friendly & helpful staff. even a dishwasher and tablets to clear up easily ha! there was a few pots missing but the staff were very attentive by bringing the missing items straight to the room. literally 2 mins from picadilly station & the shops etc. i would definitely stay again, especially for the price.

Had a brilliant time at the apartment. Such good value for money. Everything we needed for a brilliant joint birthday celebration. Difficult to find though as no street sign. Get to Ducie street and through the car park.

Stayed in Room 601. Only complaint was that one of the bedrooms smelt very musty. Other minor comments was only one tea cup and couldn't get DVD to play. Other than that really fantastic place.

I was emailed prior to stay to see if wanted the party package for the 3 of us staying in Manchester for a girlie night out. This turned out to be a great idea and included breakfast. We also got an early check-in and upgraded to the Penthouse suite which was fantastic! Apartments were very spacious and suited our needs and we were able to relax in style before our night out on the tiles. The breakfast was lovely and the whole ambience of the hotel was superb and the city centre location ideal for shopping and clubbing. Will definitely be staying at the place again.

I filled in a complaint form before leaving The Place but have not had any reply from it.My four daughters and myself were staying in room 302 on 20th February to celebrate a 40th birthday. The bathroom in the double bedroom smelt awful of sewers or drains.I told reception and they sent someone to put a cleaning substance down the toilet. this worked for a short time but when we returned from a night out the smell was dreadful again and during the night it was sickening. Also there was very loud music coming from a dancehall on the ground floor of the building, there is no indication of this "disco" on the The Place leaflet I recieved. This loud music was very clear in our appartment and none of us could get any sleep until after 2 o,clock when the music stopped. We did not enjoy the stay as we had hoped to and were very dissapointed.
I would be pleased to hear your comments on this as I was told by reception you would be answering my complaint.

We had a great stay and loved the apartment.
The only negative issue was that they towel rail in one of the bathrooms was scorching hot. Three of us burnt ourselves, I burnt my elbow pretty badly after touching the rail for a second and it has scarred. This should be sorted out because if a child or less able person held onto the rail to steady themselves they would burn themselves badly.

We had an apartment for 5 people. However there were 4 chairs to go around the table and 2 sofas-each 2 seaters!
So there was 5 places to sleep and only 4 places to eat and slouch!-Disappointing.

We did not actually get to stay at the apartments. I booked 2 rooms months earlier to celebrate my partners birthday. We checked in at 1pm but were told our rooms were not going to be ready until 3pm, which was fine, so we went out for the day. I had a call at 4pm from reception asking what time we would be checking in and told them around 6.30pm. When we went to check in we were told that there was a maintenance problem with both rooms and that there were no other rooms available so we were transferred to separate rooms at the Radisson hotel at the other side of town which meant we were staying at the opposite end of town to where we had planned to dine and drink. We even ended up with twin rooms at the Radisson. Nobody could explain whay we were not informed of the room problem earlier as they said it occurred at 12pm, before we checked in at 1pm????? very dissapointing because we heard the rooms are lovely.

Excellent stay! staff are very welcoming and helpful. Definitely value for money and I will be visiting again.
Only problem was that we could not get late check out due to a wedding celebration happening in the restaurant but overall excellent stay.
