I was at Janet Poole House for 2 nights and I have to say that overall we liked it. It was indeed clean and for us who were travelling with a young child the fact that there was a kitchen was definitely a plus to prepare his bottles. I would just say that we were given a room with 3 beds instead of 1 double and a single one (but still it was OK) but the matress of one was completely ruined... For the rest, once again we were fine.

A very central location on a very busy street for traffic. Very clean facilities. Very loud traffic all night with window blinds that are badly in need of replacing and keep out very little light. If meausures to reduce noise and keep out light I would have recommended this property.

It is not very convenient that the check in office is located a 10-minute walk away from the flat.
Only minimal toiletry was available.
The ground floor flats facing the main street Gower Street are terribly noisy.
The rooms are of good sizes. The kitchen is very useful and conveniently set up.
Customer service is impressive. Acorn staff were patient and helpful. When I complained about the loud noise from the traffic outside and from the electric box in the flat, alternative flats were organised for us within half an hour. Because there were three people in my group and another 3-bed flat was not availabe in the building, we were offered two double studio flats without extra charge. To our delight, these flats were not facing the main street and were very quiet rooms.
In summary we had a good stay.

Our little apartment was very nice, nothing fancy, but tidy, well-maintained and extremely convenient. The staff was very nice, helpful, courteous. The people where we picked up the keys were VERY nice, welcoming, friendly, helpful. I've already recommended this way of renting apartments to several friends who are planning trips to London. We'll certainly do it again. We loved it.

I thought that there would have been some cleaning and washing up products. If these were supplied it would encourage people o have more respect. I used to work in similar apartments and found that customer service was very important. There was no toaster and the grill in the oven was not effective and not at all cost effective for you people. Not that we needed extra cutlery and crockery only the basics were supplied. The toilet brush had a broken handle. I had problems getting more than 4 channels on the TV were there more ? There was a constant motor noise outside the flat door which went well on into the night and early morning. Good job we brought ear plugs

Apartment in a great location, a lovely historic part of London & easy walk to many tourist destinations. The apartment is modest but clean and offers a full kitchen if you want to self cater. Large supermarkets just round the corner. The only downside was the noisy road outside and a noisy air conditioning unit but earplugs easily resolved this. The staff were very helpful.Would stay here again.

We very much liked the location and the staff were friendly and helpful. We were a bit surprised at the large amount of "bond" we had to pay which was refunded. We were upset at the cutlery (only one fork) and the only one saucepan had a lid that fitted. No frying pan. Freezer needed defrosting. We liked the provision of washing machine and dryers. We were given a wrong phone number for an airline when we enquired. However the office staff were able to help with an early wake up call by using the security staff. We would really prefer a 24 hour reception in future.

The apartment was fine for what it was. However, it was not cleaned once while we were there (bins not emptied etc). I asked for some dishwashing liquid, but was told i had to buy it myself. I just don't think you should call it a 'serviced apartment'.

I stayed at Janet Pool Apartment for 1 night and it's very convenient since it's really close to Euston Underground station. But if you're a traveller with a huge luggage, it'd be a bit difficult for you to get the key from the office and walk back to the apartment. I took a taxi because I was to tired to walk back with my luggage. Another thing is if you ask for a double bed you should make sure that they give you a double not 2 single beds being put together !! but overall its a good enough for me.
