The biggest drawback was the very strong smell of cigarette smoke in the corridors outside our apartment. This smell seeped into the rooms on many occassions. This despite the many non smoking stickers displayed in the public spaces.
Also there was no information guide to facilities etc available, in the apartment.

The Studio Apartment was nice and clean althogh small. Some of the staff members were very polite and nice while there were also rude ones. Better customer service would make the place more attractive. Nevertheless, I stayed for 22 days and enjoyed the stay! Fabulous location!

I have stayed many times in Chelsea cloisters before, this time the studio felt not as clean as always, there were food left overs from previous travellers in the fridge, their shampoo and conditioner and it just felt like the clean up after they left was done not thoroughly enough.

The kitchen was far from the fully equipped kitchen described in your ad material, it was more like an alcove kithenette. Check In was frustrating to say the least, in that the young lady on the desk was not able to accurately direct me to your letting office to check-in. The decor of the rooms was a little dated but clean.
Overall I would rate the experience as adequate at best.

we stayed last year and it was very bad, this year we returned because two hyde park square closed.thinking it could not be worse and it was.the studio was a mini room, a diminute table 2 chairs, t.v was on bedside table and no space to move around. everything was old and crakled. the best things, quiet and warm. we will not return in our whole life.

There was no maid service during weekend - no room cleaning, no change of towel, rubbish bin etc, & some rooms just left their rubbish out in the corridor. Terrible hygeine.

There were no toiletries provided, i.e., soaps, shampoo and we had to get them to change the sofa to a proper sofa bed as one was not provided, so for one night one of our group had a sleepless night on the couch.

Apartment needs some small maintenance items attended to.
Paint peeling here and there; an hour's work will fix that. Similarly the skirting board to the bath has been damaged by water from the shower running over it; it could easily be replaced or repaired. The cover strip to the bathroom door is loose; glueing it back will take minutes only. There are other small items as well.
Complex needs on-site internet availability, obviously at a cost. It's a nuisance having to walk to the nearest internet cafe at the station.Hence the 5 rating for facilities.
A microwave would be useful.

Although the apartment was small it was very useable. The timing of the cleaning always caused a problem. When returning about 3-4pm often the cleaner had not been. The front desk staff were very off-hand but the doorman was very friendly and helpful. They do need to put in ramps on all the stairs - it is very difficult to get heavy bags down stairs. Other than that, a very good stay and we would return.

We had a 2 bedroom apt. I second bedroom only had a single bed, but that was fine for us. We very much enjoyed out stay. The apartment was in a great location. It was on the corner & we had a wonderful view. I would recommend this to friends.

The cleaning service and care of apartment were excellent.
The reception staff ranged from indifferent to rude and unhelpful. I have never experienced anything like it in my life.
I am from Australia, and expect courtesy, warmth and willingness.
I found one particular reception staff, unhelpful, abrupt and rude. This was unfortunately on several occaisons. If I hadn't already paid, I would have left.I couldn't recommend staying here to anyone, whereas I should be able to given it's excellent location.

We rented a studio apartment for 2 (me and my wife). A bit small but it has all the amenities you need (stove, microwave, washer and dryer (combined) and bathroom. The best it is close to the Cirle and District line so you can get anywhere in London very easily. The apartment was serviced daily and cleaned. They change your sheets and towels weekly.

Whole flat too warm most of the time in spite of turning radiators off and opening windows. Very clean. Kitchen facilities very good. Wooden floor very good. TV did not work but we didn't need it (and did report it) Bathroom needs money spent on it in due course. Water dribbles from shower over taps and wall and can't make cleaning straightforward..

My stay just a few days before was very comfortable. But this time the bedroom could hardly fit the bed, my wife had to sleep on the pull out sofa it was so small. The washer did not work, the TV was spotty as the reception was not constant. The room was suffocating hot!

Although in summer theses flats would be very hot, they are comfortable because one has so much room. It is tired and needs new furnishings such as new mattresses, pillows, linens, etc, but for location, size of accomodation and price it is a real bargain. Staff were super and handled all our requests. Definately return!
