Enjoyed our stay in London which included sight seeing, shopping and visiting family. Will definately be considering another apartment for our next stay in London as compared to 1-2 hotel rooms.
A couple of suggestions for improving
1. Detailed instructions on how to use the washing machine - seemed to take hours to wash clothes.
2. Supply of dish washing liquid etc rather than us or other guests having to purchase
3. The supply of kitchen utensiles was a little light on for cooking in the apartment.

Having stayed in Bedford Pl, I was very dissapointed in Burton St. The exterior was shabby. We could hardly push open the front door because of rubbish bags.Sofas are past their comfortable life. Floor in bathrooms were not clean. An empty salt cellar& sugar bowl and a tea towel in the kitchen would have been expected.Kettle was faulty.Overall very dissapointing considering the cost. The location is excllent and the house could easily be made great.

our party of 3 shared this 2 bedroom apartment for 8 nights. It is adequately furnished but a fairly old apartment. The facilities (toilet, kitchen equipment, living room, etc) in this apartment are old and if you're looking for basic accommodation with no need for it to look and feel "new", then its ok. Those requiring something more 'upmarket' should look somewhere else.

Friendly staff and accommodating to special requests. But rather difficult to get on the phone especially if calling from overseas. Enjoyed my stay there.

Points in favour of the property are -
1. Good, central location.
2. Clean facilities and crispy clean linen and towels.
3. Fairly well presented after terrible first impression (see below).
4. Guest information provided was very good.
Criticisms and problems with property:
1. Both bathrooms are very shabby, although clean, except for the mould around the shower in the ensuite shower.
2. The basin in the ensuite is very slow to drain and the plug doesn't open properly.
3. Both showers (one a bath with shower above) don't drain well. The bath is like a paddling pool for about 10 minutes before it drains. Obviously there are major plumbing problems.
4. The toilet in the ensuite doesn't flush properly.
5. There is a side lamp supplied in the double bedroom at the back, but no power point to plug it in.
6. Ignition switch on the gas stove doesn't work and no matches were supplied. We were unable to cook our dinner one night as we are non smokers and were unable to light the stove.
7. It's good to have the microwave as a back up, but there are hardly any microwave dishes to cook with. Plastic microwave dishes are very inexpensive and would be very useful to have.
8. First impression of the apartment was awful. Bags of garbage on the porch and inside the entry. Very dirty, shabby carpet and paintwork in the entry and stairwell. For the price we paid, we expected an apartment in much better condition than this one. Having just finished a tour of England, Scotland and Ireland we experienced many different levels of accommodation and would rate this as maybe a two or three star property at the best. Many backpacker hostels in Australia are in much better condition than this apartment.

Part of the flat had been re-furbed but the toilet was disgusting and the kitechen was poor. The entrance hall was strewn with rubish. Not impressed

Overall a great apartment, fantastic location close to tube and bus services and walking distance to some of London's major destinations. We travelled as a group of 3 adults with 1 5yr old child and found the apartment met all our needs and was located close to parks and shopping facilities. A few more pots and pans would be useful.

Apartment was spacious and clean. Bathroom looked awful. Drains in kitchen and bathroom smell. I think for the price paid customers should not be told to clear out bins and do dishes. There were two bedside lamps in one of the bedrooms and not one electric plug in the entire room. The apartment needs a revamp.

The apartment has 2 Bathroom
Fist day the second one was out of service; fixed the second day.
But in the afternoon appeared a leakage of water that falled from the flat above that poured beside the light
I called the number in the contract but no answer.
It's a good apartment without maintenance.
So I can use only one bathroom
We are Five people and I found 4 chairs and four dessert dishes. It's easy to fix for the owner with no cost at all.
Regards
Juan B.Beita
there were only linnens for 3 persons, instead of 4. We called and they were brought the same evening, that was very good!! (The internet access had sometimes a little problmes.) The bus station is right in front! We were very happy!
