The facilities were excellent, the apartment clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. I think that the stay would have been improved if (i) it was possible to check in at the location of the apartments on Tower Bridge Street, rather than on Tanner street. The current process is awkward for people with heavy bags, and would not have been pleasant in bad weather; (ii) there should be toilet facilities available for people who have checked out of their apartments.

Not the apartment I imagined. Unpleasant smell outside, 6 airfreshners were placed outside the door. Inside smelled of damp.
Asked for new towels but was told there was washing machine and tumbledryer, but no dryer, so cant wash towels. No washing powder, no washing up liquid etc.

Ideal for our needs our apartment was very quiet, warm and comfortable. More needs to be done to improve facilities e.g. no tea towel, gave up trying to find out how the hob worked, and it would be nice to have saucers for the cups and tea spoons. However since we only ate breakfast in the flat some of these issues were no real problem. Overall great.

we was a bit annoyed that there was no signal for the TV and in our property there were no mirrors near plugs for hair straightners

No tea towel for drying dishes otherwise everything excellent

We booked a studio and were upgraded to 1 bedroom. Apartment was clean but overheated and very noisy (including three false fire alarms). We were in the new section which fronts on to busy street on one side and walkway on the other - could hear everyone who walked past. We complained about noise and were moved to old section which was much quieter and more comfortable. 10 minutes walk from nearest tube (London Bridge). Make sure you book into old section or be prepared for disturbed nights.

Great location. Fully equiped apartment.
Quite area, facilities on door step. Only negative, hum from air con noticable at night.
Beth Schrager, Family with older children - Posted: Mon 17th Oct 2011
The sheets/beds were very uncomfortable and the air circulation was lacking. Opening the windows was a very noisy proposition due to the design of the building. The noise travels up the atrium and late night arrivals and early morning business folks made it difficult to get a good nights sleep.

Television in 803 151 Tower Bridge Road not working and in 801 had interference, we only stayed one night so did not tell reception, a bit annoying though. The bedside light in 801 did not work.
Alan Booth, Business traveller - Posted: Thu 18th Aug 2011
it was very noisy, very hot, no air conditioning.
it's meant to be set up for self catering but only had one cooking pot. The kitchen knives were all blunt and there was no facility to sharpen them. Wouldn't even cut a tomatoe.
The bathroom wash basin was not under the water tap and water would direct to the floor unless the tap was on full, the staff offered towels to mop up the water.
The bed squeaked every time I moved.
Not good value for money at all and very unlikely to use you again at this address.

Location is great if you work in the city, but not recommended for those that want a more lively area. Dealing with the staff was always a hassle: dishwasher was broken right when I moved in and it required over 5 follow-ups (4 weeks wait) for them to replace it, cleaning staff forgetting to lock my door, etc.

Would consider using this for a family break so would be interest in apartments which had twin beds rather than all doubles.
David Nichols, With friends - Posted: Mon 28th Feb 2011
All excellent.
Gail Wood, With friends - Posted: Fri 4th Feb 2011
We were disappointed to find very minimal cooking/ serving equipment in this apartment, saucepans and dishes ideal for a couple but not for six. Also oven stuck on automatic, and had been so throughly cleaned and polished that there were no temperature or setting markings visible. Three good cooks managed with guesswork and ingenuity. The benefit of having an apartment is surely not having to have all meals out. New tea towel provided was non absorbent, using an oven with no form of oven gloves quite dangerous. Otherwise a very pleasant place to stay, with prompt assistance when requested.

Overall the apartment was very good. It was well furnished, clean beds, spacious and a great location. The only minor complaint was that there was a funny smell post cleaning which we couln't identify. Overall though a great deal - better than staying in a hotel.

Great apartment and at a great price in central london.
Will definately use again
NadimAhmed, Group - Posted: Mon 1st Nov 2010
A great price for what was provided, secure clean, only one downfall was lack of communication between reservations and reception, It was agreed by reservations that I would be able to check in early and check out late but when I arrived reception had no idea of this at all!!
Miss Walker, Other - Posted: Tue 21st Sep 2010
The apartment was clean and spacious. There was no remote for the tv (even when we asked for this, it did not appear during our stay) The lights above the dining room table kept overheating and cutting out ( from 6 down to 2 sometimes). The walk from London Bridge tube station was a lot further than we anticipated and with old people and suitcases was therefore not ideal. Overall ok
iain lindsay, With friends - Posted: Mon 30th Aug 2010
apartment was in good clean condition, however the tv signal was un realiable to say the least as didnt get many channels, and the iron was broken when we needed it. Apart from that the flat itself was ideal and to a good standard
David, Family with young children - Posted: Sun 22nd Aug 2010
We were in apartment 97 which is huge and very appropriate with children.
The only problem is the noise coming from tne nearby railways.
sharon croucher, With friends - Posted: Mon 3rd May 2010
the apartments where nice apart from the kitchen utensils are very limited and i thought a microwave would have been provided like in most apartments. The television wasn't working and it was quite noisey during are stay due to other people in next door apartments.
Keith Thomas, Mature couple - Posted: Fri 16th Apr 2010
The apartment was totally fit for purpose. Everything worked - except the bread knife which was noticeable by its absence.
Plenty of hot water for the showers. Taxi firm which you recommended was incompetent - taxi for 8.00 pm failed to arrive but a taxi for 8.00 am to take us for dinner at the OXO building did arrive. Convenient bus stop for access to all of London outside the door was a bonus. Reception was good.
