Everything was perfect. The only thing that bothered us was the sound of the alarm, even during the night. Silent would be better. Apart from that,everything was excellent; very good central location and the apartment was very clean. We enjoyed it a lot and we will visit again in the near future.

Perfect location for families with young children. We could walk to many attractions and bus and tube access was very good. Staff at the Thistle hotel were friendly and helpful. Mini supermarkets near by. Apartment was on top floor with fantastic views and it was spacious enough for 6 people, glad there was an extra toliet that was not described in details. Beds and towels were clean. On the downside the apartment was noisey with the fans on the roof above us, but it was something we got use to. Carpet in living area was badly stained and torn in one area and with young children playing on the floor feel this should be replaced. No sissors or toaster in kitchen and the toilet door was tricky to open from the inside. Shower in bathroon could do with updating or another shower fitted in apartment somewhere would be a great investment.
If booking this apartment don't expect all mod cons and modern decor, its a place to sleep, eat breakfast and let the kids wind down and watch a dvd. It was great to use the hotel bar/resturant and we had a lovely meal in Browns round the corner who welcomed the children. It was also an advantage we could leave our luggage at reception when we checked out at 10am so we could enjoy another few hours in the city.

This was an good place to stay. It was a spacious apartment with two separate bedrooms, living room and separate kitchen. The double beds were a bit small for two. It is very well located next to Victoria station which gives you a quick entry into the tube system that brings you everywhere in a heartbeat. We did not need the reception of the next door hotel too much but when we did service was good and fast. I would certainly recommend this property to other travelers.

Great location but facilities and property very poor and tired. Kitchen well equiped with electrical goods but very poor on utensils and cookingware. Kitchen and bathrrom basic and very tired. Whole apartment needs a major refurbishment or at a minimum a deep thorough clean with some maintenance on the kitchen and bathroom.

Central London is an expensive place to stay. I am a regular international business traveler who usually stays in Hilton hotels. This place was clean and adequate but was not on par with 3-4 star hotels around the globe at this price point. However, compared with other options in London, I think it is a good value choice for a family of four looking for separate bedrooms, a decent common area, and a kitchen allowing them to save some money on a few meals. It is certainly cheaper than two hotel rooms at the hilton and this place worked out much better than trying to cram a family with two teenagers into one small hotel room. I would recommend this place to another family of four, just set your expectations accordingly. The location is perfect...restaurants and shopping in the immediate area along with easy walk to Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, and other attractions. Also, a very quick walk to Victoria Station which gets you easily to anywhere in London. We stayed 8 days and had a wonderful time sightseeing all over London. Enjoy!

Property was clean but shabby. Very well located and reasonably priced for a 3 bedroomed apartment in central London. However After 3 days the shower stopped working and we waited a day for it to be repaired. We purchased 3000 minutes of internet access for 27 pounds and were unable to use most of it due to the unavailability of the service. The heating broke down and the apartment became unbearably cold. This was not fixed during our stay. When the temperature was 4 oC outside I asked for some heaters which were delivered after 3 phone calls (one of which also broke down and had to be replaced).The apartment was still uncomfortably cold and we left the next day. I would not recommend these apartments.

The flat was really large, even larger than what we expected, with two separate bedrooms and comfortable bedding. However, the style / decoration of the appartment was really oldfashioned, very different from the pictures shown on the internet when we booked it. The appartment was well furnished, but we were disappointed by threadbare chairs in the dining room, the oven out of order and no hot water in the kitchen. The view was also bad and the apartment was very noisy even when the windows were closed. The Thistle Tower looks bad externally also.

The worst: The staff in the reception never smiled or had a friendly comment. Second: for me, a journalist, an apartment of this cost, without free internet, is no good. The internet connection I payed for came and went, and my my work very hard. Third: It was impossible to get a hot shower with normal water pressure.

Our stay at Lakeview Court Apartments was sensational. What can you possibly say about the location? Just perfect!
The place was clean, spacious, etc. We had everything we could possibly need while there. The place is not cheap but worth every penny.

Very spacious but in need of some repairs and cleaning. Carpets and settees were quite dirty. Lights not working or missing bulbs. Visitor handbook in need of updating as information not valid. For example---no service every three days as stated; garbage put in outer hall cupboard as directed was not removed until we took it out and placed it in the corridor. Despite it all, I would give it another try as the location was so good. But, please clean it up! And, fix the cracks.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at these apartments.
They are a great base for a family - tube and rail stations round the corner - lots of sights within walking distance - and lots of restaurants as well as shops.
I particularly enjoy the feeling of a home from home - rather than all being cramped into a hotel room or 2 if you have children with you. There is no pressure to be at breakfast and after a hard day sightseeing you can relax, watch tv, catch your breath and either go out for the evening or cook a meal - M&S and Sainsburys are 5 mins walk away! We have recommended these apartments to all our friends and family! We will definitely be back.

We stayed in a three bed apartment on the 11th floor for Christmas. The location was excellent the apartment has a nice view it was warm and cosy and the heating was on all the time. The decor is a bit dated and it could do with a new shower could not use the hot tap in kitchen and there were no bedside lamps in some of the rooms things like this would not cost a lot to put right. .We had a few meals including Christmas dinner in the Thistle Hotel the staff were friendly

I was very dissapointed with the apartment,the location was excellent and thankfully we were only using it briefly to change and to sleep in, had we required to spend more time in it, it would have potentially ruined our holiday.
We were also charged twice by credit card for the booking.
We were staying in number 13 and I appreiciate the photos are for guidence, however they are very misleading, we were expecting a fresh and bright apartment which had been decorated within the last decade and we walked into a dull and very tired looking apartment where even the shape of the rooms did not fit.
We were also unable to access the free wi-fi, had no Hi-Fi system was avalible.
There was also no maid service in a 4 day stay.
All in all very dissapointing and we are very unlikely to use your company again when it can be so misleading.

Blocked and smelly sink; broken dressing table leg (actualy collapsed whilst in use; extractor in bathroom not working, no hot water in the afternoon and evening; light bulbs not replaced; only 4 wine glasses for a 6-person apartment; radiator could not be turned off so lounge was very hot in the afternoon/evening. Whole apartment needs serious re-decoration, especially window frames and sills, and new carpets would be advantageous. The hotel staff rectified what they could but this was not good value for money

We couldn't have been more pleased with this apartment...it was well located and spacious, with a secured entrance and access to the Thistle Hotel concierge and amenities. We were just a few blocks from Victoria Station, Buckingham Palace, the Apollo Victoria theater (where "Wicked" is playing) and the Big Bus Tour stops just outside. Restaurants and shops were right out the front door, and the London Eye, Big Ben, etc. were all a 10-15 minute walk. Nothing fancy and the beds were a little hard, but otherwise it was great!

Very bright and spacious, very comfortable livingroom, of course as must be expected in this central location extremely noisy, windows not quite soundproofed, unfortunately no teapot to be found and just a minimum of dishes, but sufficient. Concierges were very helpful, but the car park I thought I had made a reservation for turned out to be a matter of chance.

THE APARTMENT COULD DO WITH A LICK OF PAINT AND THE CARPETS CLEANED ( RED WINE STAIN ON LIVING ROOM CARPET). APART FROM THAT IT WAS COMFORTABLE AND CLOSE TO ALL THE MAJOR ATTRACTIONS.

we had higher expectation looking at the apartment in the internet, in fact it was basic and not really like we expected.
we had problem with hot water.
we had very cold weather, it was cold in the rooms , the windows do not protect the cold to come into the apartment.

The location was perfect, the apartment huge and big enough for our family of six. We stayed there twice and on both occasions there were no towels, and too few glassesm cups, etc, but to be fair the hotel which services the apartments sorted out the issue very quickly. The apartment is looking a little tired and in need of some updating, but we were very comnfortable, and delighted to be 3 miutes from the Palace and three minutes from Vicoria Underground.

Apartment was fine. Beds were very comfortable.
Two of the 3 lamps had broken bulbs.
The faucet in the kitchen is leaking, unless turned off exceptionally hard. I mentioned this to the maintenance person when he came in to replace lamp bulbs, but he spoke very little English, and did not seem concerned. I also mentioned this to reception at departure.
All in all, good value for money, great location and comfort.
We have stayed there before, and will do so again. Your price is lower than that quoted by Thistle Hotel.

We were not pleased to find that we were not expected at the recption. Some error occurred even if after the written confirmtion, I phoned the booking service. Furthermore the apartments could be better maintained, there were no twin beds as asked and in one of the apartments we had trouble with hot water to shower.
But the managing director and most of the people at the reception were nice and able to solve most problems. Overall is a kind of experience I would try again.

The location of these apartments was fantastic... very close to the subway, close to a small shopping centre with restaurants as well as lots of streets nearby with food and shops! It was a short walk to the Palace, parks, and fairly short to walk to Big Ben, London Eye, etc! Great!
We had some trouble getting some things we had pre-requested... the cot and highchair were not in the apartment when we arrived despite being previously booked. We got the cot delivered but then with no linens, so we had to call again. THe highchair took another call since it was forgotten when the cot got delivered. Minor inconveniences, but notable nonetheless.
While there is washer and dryer facilities, they do not provide detergent so we had to buy a full package of detergent for a 6 day stay. I felt it would be a simple thing to provde a small couple packets of detergent for a few washes during the stay.
Our garbage was also not picked up during our stay. We did eat at the apartment and with two children in nappies, garbage pickup should be done daily. We spoke to them about this and asked to have it collected, but upon departure, our garbage 'closet' was still full.

The apartment was very shabby and seemed to lack maintenance.
Window cills were without paint
Extremely cold draughts were coming through windows
Wallpaper/borders hanging off
Lounge furniture eg tables, heat stained and marked
Curtains were ill fitting, hanging off runners or some rails not fixed, some curtains would not close
Bedroom 1's door would not shut
Insufficient warm bedding - no extra bedding was provided
In kitchen - cold water tap not working - both fawcetts faulty
No information provided on using appliances or advice.
No information on use of kitchen cooker - which was
difficult to operate - seemed faulty
Rusty frying pan
Minimal kitchen or cooking equipment provided,
only basics supplied.
No tea towels/paper towelling/cleaning cloths/dusters/or even disposable cloths supplied.
The advertised picture was not a true representation of our apartment.
As seasoned self catering "users" this apartment was one of the most expensive we have ever rented and one of the worst. We did expect a higher standard of accommodation than we received.

There are some missing items in the kitchenware, like glasses for water and wine, kitchen towel. I made a complain after checking in and received two water glasses and four wine goblets. The point is that the missing items are, to my point of view, a lack of care in the pre-checkin review process.

To fit 5 people the apartment is nice and big with 3 bedrooms and the living area is relatively big so you can live in space if you need it.
Location is good with all the facilities nearby. Heating works well in fact we had to turn it off as the heat glow form the rest of the hotel was enough!

This is the second occasion we stayed in this apartment. We stayed in flat 2, the downside being is that the bedroom is next to the lift and it is not a silent lift.
Insufficient cutlery and crockery. ie
On arrival we had to request cereal bowls and a tea towel, on our first visit they were in the flat.
On our next visit we would again plan to stay at Lakeview but would not if we were allocated flat 2.
Checkout time is 1000hrs it would be of benefit if it was 1200hrs.
We would recommend Lakeview Apartments but not flat 2 or any flat adjacent to the lift.

The small 2 bedroom apartment (apt14) was the perfect size for us with the kids (two 21 months old), baby cots were provided but not the high chairs.
a washing machine and a dryer are available and this has been a plus.
The apt was very confortable but not exxtremely cleen, although consierge was very helpful for all our queries.
cuttlery, plates and mugs were the bare minimum though.
really enjoyed our staying

We arrived to find that our booking had not been confirmed and even though the apartment had been paid for this was not sorted out until 4 nights into our stay.
The hotel then tried to charge us for an extra night.
The connecting door between our apartment and the next was not locked.
The apartments were dated and the utensils etc were dirty.
Apart from location, I would not recommend these apartments.

Apartment well situated for our needs.
Clean on arrival and well furnished Plenty of storage.
Bathroom needed a coat of paint.
Kitchen sadly lacking in cooking pans, oven dishes and serving dishes.As a self catering apartment it was disappointing. Cooker hood not working.
Not enough cutlery. One tea towel not enough and no oven gloves.
