Location
The Bellhaven Apartments are located close to the site for the new Olympic Park for the 2012 Olympic Games. Central London, Canary Wharf and many of the main attractions are within easy reach on the Central line. The O2 arena and ExCel exhibition and conference centre are only a few minutes away on the Jubilee Line.

Three adults were staying in a one bedroom apartment with sofa bed, advertised as suitable for up to four. The apartment was clean and in good order. Nice spaceous bathroom. However there were a number of short comings:
1. The sofa bed was worn and would not extend out flat.
2. The pillows for the sofa bed had to be requested.
3. The double bed had not been split into two singles was done when requested.
4. There were only two dining chairs.
5. Towels were only supplied for 2 persons.
6. There were insufficient cooking utensils ie no bowls suitable for microwave cooking, baking sheet etc.
7. The kitchen whilst having washer dryer and dishwasher lacked sufficient storage space for food items.
8. The apartment overlooked the mainline from London to East Anglia with trains passing every minute all through the day and even through the night. Even with double glazing and secondry glazing they could still easily be heard.

We were attending the Olympic trials and if in future we used that pool I would definetly recommed you, but I would warn that charging over £60 to use a credit card is profiteering (ripping people off)especially when the booikng is made well in advance.

Our stay at Marlin (Bellhaven) Apartments, Stratford was extremely successful. Everything ran smoothly and staff were helpful. Apartments were clean and we had everything we needed. We were a group of swimmers and staff competing at the Olympic Swimming Trials nearby. It was within easy walking distance and everyone we met was pleasant and helpful. My only minor concern was that the check-in process on arrival was rather long and laborious for a large group (20+ people), taking almost an hour to complete. I would like to praise all the staff at Citybase, especially Will and Chris, for their extremely professional standards and helpfulness with everything beforehand and during. I would have no hesitations recommending you guys again and if we are ever back in London for something similar we will definitely be back in touch.

Three light bulbs burned out on first day of a week stay and were never replaced despite repeated requests and assurances. Desk staff were friendly and generally helpful otherwise. Very nice bathroom, kitchen well equipped. Convenient to Stratford Station (though 10 min walk over bridges). We had two teenage daughters on a fold out couch which they said was uncomfortable. Overall a good value for the money.

We were very happy with the comfort of beds and furniture, the quiet location etc, but there were some things wrong: no pots and pans at all for cooking - the receptionist eventually found us a small frying pan; my bedside light didn't work; there were only three dining chairs; the kitchen bin was broken.

Hi about 18 months ago i stayed in one of your appartments in queen street . A friend and i came down for a photo shoot and decided to stay a few days and make the most of it. Iwas absolutly delighted with the appartment great location modern clean and tidy and fully equiped. Itmade our stay in London great. Which is why i chose to use your appartments again, only this time was for a special occasion My partner had asked me to marry him and we was coming away for a romantic break and get the ring. However i must say it wasnt romantic at all most of the amenities didnt work in our appartment ie the extractor fan in bathroom and main light in bedroom . The standard of hygine wasnt up to scratch it was quiet frowsy with blood stains on the wall in bathroom and grubby finger marks everywere and the pillow cases didnt smell clean. Also it happened to be the hottest weekend of the year which ment that we wanted windows open but with that ment we got no sleep what so ever with constant trains going by outside our window and men working on the line. Therefor i would not recommend bellhaven appartments to any one as it thoroughly ruined our romantic break mainly thru lack of sleep.

Although the appartment is located along the railway and very close to a huge construction field, it remains rather noiseless. The staff proved to be nice and easy-going.
We all (6 persons) very much enjoyed our stay!

Appartment was ideal for our purpose (Family with 2 teenagers and one 11 yr old. Customer service was very good (e.g. defective toaster was replaced immediately).
Only point to note is that for an appartment that should sleep up to six people there are only 4 chairs.
Price was fair and location to the underground and sghopping facilities very convenient (10 min. walk)
