Just one complain, but a big one though: awful internet access.

My stay for one night was wonderful. The apartment was great and the views fantastic. The concierge were friendly, efficient and welcoming.

It's a nice apartment. What I missed was more cutlery, more glasses, more dishes... there are only 3 or 4 of each, and if you want to be a bit ecologic and not to put the dishwasher with 2 dishes, then you have to wash by hand. Otherwise is nice: a hairdryer, an iron, tv,...
They charge for the babycot, which I find a bit abusive (it's the first place where I see this).

The whole experience was unsatisfactory from start to finish. Hopeless at checkin - not able to process our credit cards for their bond depsite having previously taken payment from these credit cards; refusing to let us checkin without payment of the bond depsite it being 10pm on a Sunday night and my colleague and I having just arrived from the US. Then giving one of us an apartment with serious plubing problems and refusing to move him ...until the receptionist was pursuaded to try to fix it herself and made the problem far worse. Other issue include issues such as no hairdryer, no instructions on how to use the phone, no washing up liquid, virtually no information about the locaility ...all difficult to get fixed with staff primed to push the problem back on to the customer every time. Other guests clearly had similar experiences as evidenced by seeing a number of irate customers at recetion. There is absolutely no concept of customer service at this establishment...did not even bother to tell them about the failure of the dryer to work, the rusted up iron and could not induce them to check in one apartment for a power adaptor letf behind. The attitude of the staff is summed up by their response to being asked for a copy of a street map pinned to the wall - they said "of we used to have these but everyone wanted one"! The final issue is that they don't release the bond until five days after you have ckecked out - why? Don't stay there!!! Not suitable for business travellers and not recommended for anyone else.

Very furnished apartment in a completely new building, with all comforts and facilities, free WiFi connection. A few steps from the Aldgate East metro station. Even closer Starbucks and Tesco for excellent breakfast and food shopping. Personnel is excellent, fully available 24h/day, always ready to satisfy all requests (touristic info, shops, file prints)

I have to say that I was a little disappointed that we were not automatically offered an alternatice apartment upon our arrival due to the road works that were scheduled to go on untill 04.15am.out side our window. We were moved the following day but only if we returned to the apartments at 14.00hrs to pack up our belongings. This cost us time and money and inturupted our visit to the city. The staff were very polite and sympathetic but I feel it should have all been dealt with when we arrived and not after losing a nights sleep.

First time user but will definitely use it again for our next visit. Location was perfect. Pictures on the website accurate.

The kitchen was very poorly stocked with utensils and dishes for cooking. But the views, and the quality of the apartment more than made up for this

On entering the appartment it was found to be dirty. There was a sticky drink which was spilt onto the coffee table and sitting room floor.
We had to request the duty manager to provide us with enough cups, plates and glasses. Clearly an a check is nt made of the apartment before your guests arrive to ensure that all items which should be in the cupboards are there. One would expect to find a full list of the contents which can be signed for on arrival and departure.

Our stay in Aldgate apartments was everything we could have hoped for, beautiful, comfortable rooms with amazing views over the city. We will definitely go back and have already strongly recommended the apartments to friends thinking of visiting London.
I have stayed at Aldgate apartments twice. The first time I was in the east tower. The bedrooms are large and the sitting room is a decent size. The second time, paying exactly the same rate as before, I was in an apartment in the west tower where you hardly had the room to swing a cat (although you could probably fit 40 people easily on the balcony... a total waste of space!)
The dining table may have 4 chairs around it, but you can't easily fit four plates on it! And there were no tea spoons in the cutlery drawer. Compared to my first stay, this apartment was very poor.
