I was dissapointed by the intial customer service by a poor recpetionist and a cleaner walking around without uniform on. Then to walk into the apartmenta nd find the facilities were not what i expected having looked at the website. I then was greeted by dirty carpets and stains.
Contacted Customer Service on first day available.

I have to say my expectations were not high when I booked this apartment. I was however pleasantly surprised by the quality and size of the room. Ok my room was on the fourth floor and there’s no lift but then again I booked late so what do you expect! The room was nicely finished with everything I needed including good free wifi. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good. There was enough equipment in the kitchen to prepare a meal and I was surprised to get some basic breakfast items. For £79 a night it represents very good value for money and I will definitely stay there again...

Doesn't look like a hotel from teh ooutside (simple elegant black door). I was downstairs overlooking courtyard, covered in winter leaf fall. Really well appointed with microwave. Nice touch to have adaptor plugs ready in sockets. Modern and new fit-out. Would stay again, esp at that rate.
I stay a so many hotels around the world and I wouldn't be surprised if the people who operate this hotel have never stayed in one themselves.
The hotel was not all bad by any stretch -- the room was a good size, the kitchenette was well done, the location was excellent, the internet service was fine. Unfortunately, it's just the little things that make the big difference:
(a) the bed & pillows felt like they had been bought in the markets for about $50. It was cheap; it was uncomfortable; you could feel the mattress coils digging into your bag. No good!
(b) the curtains don't full cover the windows. Fine in winter but by spring the light streams into the room from a very early hour. Not very conducive to an uninterrupted sleep.
(c) no laundry service, neither on-site nor third-party. Do I really need to explain that people like wear clean clothes?
Fix these sorts of problems and I'd happily stay again but not otherwise.
