The city is surprisingly easy to get around on foot- you'll find plenty to explore close to your accommodation in London- but if you prefer to take the weight off your feet there are plenty of choices. Getting Around

The centre of London is surprisingly compact, making it an easy city to walk around. Alternatively:
•    The London Underground- The largest underground system in the world, with stops near all the main attractions.
•    Bus - The iconic red buses are a design classic, and the top deck can offer a great view.
•    Taxi - Another design classic, the black taxi can be found and hailed throughout the city.
•    Oystercard- Pay-as-you-go options are available for visitors, and can be used on both buses and the tube.

Eat/Drink

London is a multicultural city and, as such, offers a great range of international cuisine:
•    Celebrity Chefs -  Top chefs including Gordon Ramsay and Jamie Oliver have restaurants in the capital.
•    Fish and Chips - The time-honoured British favourite, available at hundreds of local "chippy" shops.
•    Pub Grub - From traditional fare to the modern gastropub, there's nothing like a hearty pub meal.
•    Tastes of the world- Every conceivable cuisine is available somewhere in London- from African-Caribbean through to Vietnamese.
