We stayed here as a couple with a young baby and it was the perfect alternative to a hotel as it still felt like we were staying away from home but we had a microwave to sterilise the bottles and room for the activity mat on the floor! The location of this apartment is fantastic...if a little hard to find at first! The apartments are clean and feel safe and quiet considering they are right in the city centre. We would definitely come back.

I think it was a perfect place to stay in Liverpool! Perfect location and very nice apartments. The only minus was that noone cleaned our apartment, changed towels or put new toilet paper during our five days there.

I booked 2 x 2Bed appartments and asked for them to be next to each other. On Arrival, my group was advised that only 1 x 2 Bed was available while the others would be 1 x 1 Bed. They were on the same floor.
I would have liked to have been told in advance as i am sure CITYBASE would have known in advance. They then wanted to charge me nearly £300 more than what i agreed to book at because of the room difference. Luckily i had a print of my agreement. The staff were reasonably helpful, but not overly polite or apologitic about the situation
When going to the rooms, all 8 of us initially went to the 2 bed apartment, which was nice, in good condition. When checking the other rooms, one of them hadnt been cleaned up. The bed was messy, towels were on the floor. When calling to get this cleaned, it took over 1 hour for someone to come up and clean (considering we arrived at 9pm on friday night after a long drive from London, it wasnt what we expected as we were all tired).
When we asked for compensation, we got nothing but a little box of items which most were already in the room. We tried to speak to management but they were never there and never called back to apologies or even come up to our room.
On the up side, the location was perfect, and the overall value was good...just a shame and dissapointed with the above,

Second time ive stayed there and the first time was good, which was the reason i stayed again. To make it more value for money was the fact i was put in a two bedroom apartment. Would i stay again . Definetly

Noisy doors which needed closers to slow them down so that they didn't slam. Otherwise everything was excellent and the staff were extremely polite, friendly and helpful.
