I stayed at Westbridge Wharf Apartments because it was recommended to me by colleagues, and I had a very positive experience. I would like to say that Said was remarkable at check in, providing me with information and support when needed. Said is truly the epitome of excellent Customer Service which I greatly appreciated.
Thanks again for making my stay in Leicester a memorable one!!!
Best regards,
Leslie

1. Occasionally the WiFi did not work.
2. My room is on 2/F facing Bath Lane. It is very dusty. It is desirable to
have a vacuum cleaner.
3. The scourer is not strong enough to clear tea stain.

Apartments were excellent. Don't be put off by surrounding area, more industrial units, but felt safe. Excellent location for city centre. 5 minutes walk to Highcross shopping and restaurants. We booked large 2 bedroom, which had a large balcony, ensuite bathroom and ensuite shower. All kitchen appliances available. Only thing was the iron didn't work, but we had brought our own. Bring your own hairdryer. Worth paying a little extra for underground parking. Stayed October 2011 and found the apartments quite warm.

Does not look like anything in the pictures. No sofa, all there is a bed with a kitchen right infront of your face. not spacey at all. only suitable thing was the bathroom. customer service was absolute rubbish, walked in to be checked in and the man serving thought it was polite to be on the phone laughing away for the first ten minutes before asking 'have you come to check in?' do not recommend this to anyone.

This apartment is quite central so handy for the local town. The apartment itself looks like it could do with a coat of paint, also it feels like it could do with a bit of TLC, things like there was no bath plug and mould in the shower and only one set of towels when they knew we'd booked as a couple. Overall the apartment is ok but i wouldn't stay here again.

I chose an apartment on this business trip as I have food allergies which most hotels still seem to struggle with. The kitchen was good and served my needs well. However when I arrived the reception was very poor - based in an apartment with MTV blaring out on the telly. I only received basic information i.e. what number my apartment was and nothing else. The bed was awful. It was cheap and had collapsed underneath and as all the slats underneath had fallen off - I had to rebuild it before I could sleep on it. The apt had two doors out onto the balcony but could only lock one as there was no key for the other. The carpet in the bedroom was badly stained as was the sofa. There was a badly stained and smelly mattress in the lounge for extra guests even though this had not been requested. Think I'll try elsewhere next time!!

The apartment was not very clean, the walls were covered in marks and scratches. The smell in apartment when we first entered was terrible- (very smokey and unpleasant). The extractor fan (placed right above the cooker) was not working which made cooking very difficult. The floor separating the laminate floor boards and the tiles in the kitchen/living area was missing- making it hazardous in case you tripped over it. They only provided 1 large towel in the bathroom which for 2 adults was not enough considering it was a double guest room- they could have at least provided two large towels for both individuals.
The only thing we both appreciated the most was the location- which was very convenient- only a short walk to the town centre.

Pretty much as advertised - ideal for a lengthy stay and very well located with great secure parking. Minor issues with some appliances and some damage but overall value for the price paid.

I travel a great deal during the year on business. Until recently I have always opted for hotel rooms but I find the convenience, facilities, location and space of City Apartments far more comfortable. Whenever possible I will always book an apartment. The apartment I stayed at in Leicester was fantastic.

After a long journey and having called on our way at 5:50 to say that we were hoping to arrive by 6
but it maybe a little later we were reassured that was fine and that he would be there til 8pm. Arrived at 6:10 with noone around and the phoneline busy. We spent 40mins outside in the cold trying to get through - eventually a resident told us where we would find the reception. There were no signs or information at the door to direct people to the next building. Very disappointing start to our weekend.

On arrival at the property it would be helpful to have a sign displayed showing you where to go, was difficult to find the Reception on the first floor!!
The apartments are lovely, clean and well stocked with all you may need for a short break. (a hairdryer would have been useful)
We had a very comfortable stay and would gladly recommend these apartments to anyone. Thank You

I have stayed in the apartments on two occasions, and both times the crockery has been filthy.
Constant noise from a family above me with no one willing to do anything about it.

I did find my stay disappointing with regard to lack of internet access which i require for work and flight details as I am an international visitor, I also found problems with apartment 604 that require reporting ie, the dryer was not working and the airer was broken, also the toaster tripped the circuit board switch,it was also apparent the apartment had not being vaccumed as broken necklace was found on the bedroom floor. I do like the apartments as it is a good position but may have to consider elsewhere if I cannot have internet and be able to wash and dry clothing.

The young man who greeted me was very friendly and polite and helpful. The appartment was immaculate as always .My only disappointment was unrelated to the appartment but to two nosy people who chatted loudly until well after midnight outside.I am not sure if they were guests or not.I was preparing for a law exam and did not appreciate their inconsiderateness.Previusly in winter it was quiet.

review on two x three bed apartments - Great staff, secure, safe, good location. Downsides - the apartments were ridiculously hot (although stayed when 29 degrees in June) and floors quite dirty which, we realised was because between two aparments there was no broom or hoover! anyway that said the apartments are lovely and we had a great time. Would stay again but request corner apartment as these are much bigger.

Leicester has surprised me as a city and there appears to be a lot of regeneration work happening at the moment, which means that the city, actually, has quite a lot to offer. The apartment was clean with all that you would need for a short stay; there were literally just enough utensils in the kitchen, 2 knives, 2 forks, 2 plates etc, you get the picture but it was great for us as we could get up at our leisure and cook our own breakfast and relax! The apartment is located just a few minutes walk from the main bars and restaurants and the cinema is just as close, so no need for taxi's which was great. I would definitely recommend a stay here as the privacy you get beats staying at a hotel, plus the customer service we received was prompt and very good! The location is ideal for nights out, gigs and if you drive 10 minutes out of town you have the beautiful Bradgate Park to get some fresh air into your lungs! Overall, a very good and surprisingly pleasant first stay in Leicester!
Faye from Fleckney, Young couple - Posted: Tue 13th Apr 2010
As a whole the appartment was fine, however little things let it down unfortunately. The bed really spoilt the room, it looked old and scruffy with an old head board which had scratched all away along the wall, a different bed would make the room appear so much better im sure. Customer services was fine and i was very pleased they could supply with a hairdryer! I would recommend the apartments but not the cheapest rooms as it was disapponting.

Me and my partner absolutley loved the apartments. They were clean and comfortable and made us feel like home. I actually didn't want to leave to be honest. However, the only issue that we did have is that we had trouble finding parking near by especially on the weekend but apart from that I will definatley return in the near future. Thank you again!

Hi,
I suggest that you should be able to provide extra facilities,on request, on extra charges, like Sky TV, land line. Though not a part of the normal package, you should be able to provide these on request, for extra charges.
Also, the speed of the wifi needs to be improved.
Thanks and Regards

Window in bedroom jammed slightly open.
Living room floor slippy with sofa always sliding back.
Glass not properly fixed to table legs - dangerous for children.
No torch in flat - fuse blew at night.
No information on internet access or SKY TV use.

Fantastic! We arrived late on the saturday night and the gentleman came straight down and let us in. We were so impressed with the apartment and facilities that we are booking again for December.
Would recommend to anyone.

Very quiet pleasant surroundings a great base for seeing the central midlands.

We stayed two weeks. Although we are generally satisfied, we were really annoyed by serious shortcomings. Weekly linen change was not done, then the cleaner came later than agreed. Another shortcoming is about cooking tools, like pans without lids and broken plats. Not sutable for long stay.
