I think the apartment must be cleaned better. I found dregs in the coffe machine, water in the kettle and some rests of papers behind the bed. In one of the windows there were spiderwebs.

Overall very happwith stay. However, we booked a twin room specifically which I confirmed with the agent prior to our arrival. It was a double bed with which we were faced, which caused us some embarrassment and difficulty. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Leicester but as long-standing male/female friends, happily married but not to each other and, I must add, with partners happy for us to visit the Summer Sundae Festival in Leicester together! Joking apart, this situation could have ruined our stay but we are fortunate in our ability to compromise and behave! It was a mistake by the owner/agent that was not really forgiveable but he had no alternative flat to offer. He was apologetic.

We stayed 2 nights over a weekend and can't praise these lovely apartments highly enough. Spacious, modern, clean, central and quite which was what we were looking for. Only minor improvements would be a full size ironing board, more sky channels, some toiletries (no soap, shampoo etc) and a bit of milk for the tea and coffee would have been nice. But over all, for £65 a night, it was a bargain fir such a luxury apartment.

A very interesting conversion of an old Leather Factors. It was a very comfortable flat where everything worked. The location can't be better as it's right in the middle of Leicester. I didn't have a car with me so suited me fine - I don't think there's dedicated parking but a discount at a local NCP.
There isn't a check-in as such - I met the person whose project was the conversion! Would stay again - especially for a longer time.
Overall the apartment was incredibly lovely. The welcome was great after our journey to Leicester and James was very helpful. The apartment will grow in popularity and patronage as the area is enlivened more, however this may also diminish its appeal to some as the noise encroachment may offend (woken at 4am by revellers leaving the nearby Helsinki nightclub was an issue at the time)
The other minor adjustments I would suggest to improve someone's stay may be to provide soap for the bathroom and a few more essential tools in the kitchen - a chopping board or two; a better kitchen knife and a colander (those wishing to rent an apartment over a hotel will often want to cook simple dinners). Lastly, updating the procedures for check-in between Citybase Apartments and the person meeting the guest would eliminate any second guessing from both sides and make arrivals straight forward.
