The cleanliness of the main bathroom was disappointing. There were some marks on the floor that wiped off, and could have been cleaned prior to our arrival. Otherwise the apartment was very clean and tidy. The fixtures and fittings were all in good condition and good working order, though the sofas and dining table were showing signs of wear. The stove top had been cleaned so much that the scales for the controls had been removed, so it was a juggle to get the heat right when cooking.
The use of secure key-drops to pick up keys, rather than having to attend an office or meet an agent, was very convenient though it felt strange going through another apartments garden to get to the main-door key felt like an intrusion to the other occupants.
The location of the apartment was a bonus we hadn't expected as the major supermarket was just across a foot-bridge and Apsley main-line station gave very easy access to London.
