Reception is on hand from 07:00 – 23.00 seven days a week to provide guest assistance including morning newspaper delivery, wake-up calls, a DVD library and babysitting services.

Each apartment features a spacious and comfortable lounge, a separate bathroom with complimentary Arran Aromatic toiletries, and a fully equipped kitchen.

This apartment has one bedroom with either a queen-sized bed or twin beds (please state your preference on the booking request form)
Sleeps: 5 Bathrooms: 1 Superior Two Bedroom Apartment
This apartment has one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, a spacious lounge with dining area, full kitchen and bathroom. In addition, there is a sofa bed in the living area which can comfortably accommodate one child.
Sleeps: 3 Bathrooms: 1 One Bedroom Comfort Apartment
This apartment has one bedroom with a queen-sized bed, and a lounge with a sofa bed, to accommodate up to three people.
Sleeps: 5 Bathrooms: 2 Two Bedroom Comfort Apartment
This apartment has one bedroom with a queen-sized bed and en suite shower room, a second bedroom with twin beds, a lounge with sofa bed, full kitchen and separate bathroom. It can accommodate up to five people.
Sleeps: 8 Bathrooms: 2 Three Bedroom Comfort Apartment
This apartment has a master bedroom with one queen-sized bed, one single bed and an en suite shower room, a second bedroom with twin beds and a third bedroom with a double bed. In addition, there is a sofa bed in the lounge and a separate family bathroom. This apartment can accommodate up to eight people.
The Knight Residence is situated just minutes from all the city's visitor attractions and business districts. The Edinburgh International Conference Centre is a five minute walk away, and the Scottish Parliament building is also close by. The surrounding area offers a range of restaurants and nightlife. Edinburgh is served by two main railway stations, Edinburgh Waverley and Haymarket, and most parts of the city, suburbs and surrounding region are connected by an extensive bus system. Edinburgh Airport is just eight miles west of the city centre. Booking Procedure
The Knight Residence can be booked in exactly the same way as a hotel: simply complete and submit the secure online booking form. As well as your exact apartment requirements, you’ll need to supply your credit card details on the booking form. This is essential for the booking to be made.
Credit Card Charges
Your card will be charged the full amount for your stay at the time of booking.
Payment
Apartments will be paid for prior to arrival- see above.
Security Deposit
No security deposit is required. However, you may be asked for an imprint of your credit card upon arrival to cover any incidental expenses.
Check-In & Check-Out Times
Check-in is from 14:30 and check-out is by 11:00.
Cards Accepted
The Knight Residence accept the following card types: American Express, Diners Club, Maestro, Master Card, Visa Credit.
Cancellation Policy
For stays during the Edinburgh Festival, Hogmanay period and other events (See below for dates):
Cancellations made at least 21 days prior to arrival will be charged a £25 administration fee.
Cancellations made less than 21 days prior to arrival will be charged for one nights' stay.
For stays at any other time:
Cancellations made up to 16:00 on the day prior to arrival will be charged an administration fee of £25 per apartment.
Cancellations made after 16:00 on the day prior to arrival will be charged for one nights' stay.
Comfort Apartments have a minimum stay of 3 nights for bookings made more than one week in advance. Shorter stays may be available at shorter notice.
One night stays on Saturdays may only be booked within six days of arrival.
Lower rates may be available for stays of over 7 nights- please contact us for details.
Events Dates include:
30th December 2010 to 1st January 2011, 11th and 12th February, and 25th to 27th February 2011, 18th and 19th March 2011- higher rates will be charged during these periods, please contact us for details.
A minimum stay of 3 nights applies to stays over the New Year period (30th December - 1st January) and a minimum 2 night stay applies to the 27th February 2011.
