Charlotte Square is part of the New Town of Edinburgh, a designated World Heritage Site which includes many grand Georgian buildings, the National Gallery of Scotland and the Royal Scottish Academy, and a wide range of shops, bars and restaurants. Edinburgh benefits from an extensive bus system connecting most parts of the city, suburbs and surrounding region, and is served by two rail stations, Edinburgh Waverley and the smaller Haymarket station to the west. Edinburgh Airport is just eight miles west of the city centre. Booking Procedure
The Charlotte Square Apartments can be booked in exactly the same way as a hotel: simply complete and submit the secure online booking form. As well as your exact apartment requirements, you’ll need to supply your credit card details on the booking form. This is essential for the booking to be made.
Credit Card Charges
Your card will be charged at the time of booking for the first night of your stay to guarantee the booking.
Please note: There is a 1.5% surcharge for all payments made using Visa and MasterCard and a 3.5% surcharge for using American Express.
Payment
You will be asked on arrival for the remainder of the balance at the rate you booked at.
Security Deposit
No security deposit is required. However, you will be asked for an imprint of your credit card upon arrival to cover any incidental expenses.
Check-In & Check-Out Times
Check-in is from 15.00 and check-out is by 10.00.

Charlotte Square Apartments accept the following card types: American Express, Maestro, Master Card, Visa.
Cancellation Policy
Notice of cancellation is required 28 days prior to arrival in order to avoid a cancellation charge.
Cancellations made between 28 and 14 days prior to arrival will incur a charge equal to 10% of the total cost of the stay.
Cancellations made between 14 and 7 days prior to arrival will incur a charge equal to 25% of the total cost of the stay.
Cancellations made less than 7 days prior to arrival, but more than 48 hours prior to arrival, will incur a charge equal to 50% of the total cost.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of arrival will incur a charge equal to 75% of the total cost of the stay.
Please note that there is a 2 night minimum stay on Friday and Saturday nights . There is a 4 night minimum stay during the New Year period.
Peak Rates apply to stays during the following dates: 1st-3rd May, 21st-23rd May, 28th-31st May, 1st-31st August, 29th-31st December 2010 and 1st January 2011.
