My friends and I have recently spent a long and amazing weekend in Edinburgh, and one of the best decisions was renting two apartments at Canon Court.

We were particularly pleased with maintenance service we received when we had trouble with the washing machine.

This was excellant venue for us .... sight seeeing etc was no problem with a short bus ride to city. Good pub nearby (Smiths) and supermarket 150 metres away. I will stay here again.

Good except for interupted internet line, low signal and need to get new passwords several times

Originally I had requested a studio apartment from the website, but was told they were booked up and I was offered a one bedroom apartment instead. After wondering if this was a ruse to get more money, I was very glad I took the offer instead as we had extra space and facilities to enjoy.
The apartment comprised a bedroom with huge double bed, bathroom, living/dining room and fully equipped kitchen. The wi-fi was free and well-connected, a bonus for us as being self employed we needed to keep in touch.
We looked forward to returning "home" after a busy day sightseeing and flopping on the sofa (two armchairs to choose too!). We cooked most evenings which made the times we did eat out more special. There was a huge TV which was well-used by us, and also a DVD player and hifi which we didn't use.
The apartment was warm and cosy, the receptionist friendly and helpful, the car-parking convenient (an extra £10 per day but worth it).
My only quibble would be the kitchen equipment. The glass chopping board felt very fragile and the chopping knives were very blunt which made salads a chore, but otherwise it had everything we needed including microwave, cooker, toaster, kettle, fridge and washing machine (clothes horses also provided).
Right outside the flat was a bus stop that took us to the city centre, although it's a pleasant walk in of only about half a mile. Opposite is a petrol station with large shop, a large Tesco round the corner, and a few cafes and other shops. Very conveniently situated!
I'd definitely come here again next time we visit Edinburgh.
