Suitable for up to four people, this apartment has two bedrooms with double beds.
The apartments are just a stone's throw away from the market square, and within a short walk of the historic cathedral, generally regarded as one of the finest of its kind in Europe, and the castle, which is a college of the University of Durham- as such public access here is limited to guided tours. Durham railway station is within easy reach, providing services to a range of destinations throughout the UK. There are frequent bus services throughout the local area. Visitors should note that the Market Place and peninsula area form a congestion charging zone.
Newcastle Airport is to the north, and Durham Tees Valley Airport to the south, both approximately 30-45 minutes drive away. Booking Procedure
The St Clements Wharf Apartments can be booked in exactly the same way as a hotel: simply complete and submit the secure online booking form. As well as your exact apartment requirements, you’ll need to supply your credit card details on the booking form. This is essential for the booking to be made.
Credit Card Charges
For bookings made more than 15 days prior to arrival, a deposit of 30% of the total accommodation cost will be charged to your credit card. The remaining balance is due no later than 14 days prior to arrival unless otherwise agreed in writing.
For bookings made within 15 days of arrival full payment is required at the time of booking.
Should payment not reach the apartments within the stated time, the apartments reserve the right to cancel any booking made and any deposit paid will be forfeited.

Extensions and Alterations
If you wish to extend your stay, seven days' notice is required, otherwise your apartment may be re-let. Extensions are subject to availability and rate change.
If you wish to alter your booking, you will be obliged to pay any additional expenses incurred as a result of the alteration. In addition, the apartments may, at their discretion, charge an amendment fee of £50 plus VAT to cover administrative costs.
Check-In & Check-Out Times
Check-in is from 16:00 and check-out is by 11:00.

St Clements Wharf Apartments accept the following card types: American Express, Diners Club, Electron, Master Card, Switch/Maestro, Visa.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be confirmed in writing. Where cancellations are received less than eight weeks prior to arrival, the apartments reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of £250 and any accommodation charges to which they have committed in respect of that reservation. Any refund of accommodation charges is made subject to the apartment being re-let.
No refunds will be made for non-arrivals.
In the event that a guest needs to check out prior to the agreed departure date, the apartments will make every effort to refund the accommodation charges for the remainder of the stay. However, any refund will be subject to the apartment being re-let and will be subject to a cancellation charge of £50.
