Location
The Studio Italy Apartments are situated on the well-known Piwna Street, which has a great selection of amber and silver craft shops and local restaurants. Located in the Old Town of Warsaw, the Royal Castle and the Old Town Square are close by. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, there are lots to see and do here; look at the medieval architecture of the city walls, barbican and St John's Cathedral or sample some local dishes in the many restaurants and cafés scattered about. A short walk will lead you to the Vistula River and the Saxon Garden (Ogród Saski).
Travel
Warsaw has an extensive public transport network which includes buses, trams and the Metro. Tickets are purchased from kiosks or local shops. Warsaw Central Railway station (Warszawa Centralna) offers domestic and international services.
Warsaw Frederic Chopin Airport is approximately six miles from the city centre, and is Poland's busiest airport.
