Location

The Rynek Jazz Apartments are located in the Old Town of Warsaw, right on the Old Town Square. The square is awash with restaurants and pubs offering traditional Polish food and local beer. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, there are lots to see and do here; look at the medieval architecture of the city walls, the nearby Royal Castle, the barbican and St John's Cathedral or sample some local dishes in the many restaurants and cafés scattered about. A short walk will lead you to the Vistula River and the Saxon Garden (Ogród Saski).

Travel

Warsaw has an extensive public transport network which includes buses, trams and the Metro. Tickets are purchased from kiosks or local shops. Warsaw Central Railway station (Warszawa Centralna) offers domestic and international services.

Warsaw Frederic Chopin Airport is approximately six miles from the city centre, and is Poland's busiest airport.
