Location
Set in the very centre of Krakow, the Savannah Apartments provide great accommodation with easy access to the main attractions of the city. Just a stone's throw away is the Old Town and all the must-see sights contained within such as the ten-acre medieval market square Rynek Główny, the 14th century Gothic Basilica of the Virgin Mary and many museums, galleries and interesting historic landmarks. Other places to see are the Jewish quarter, Kazimierz - where much of "Schindler's List" was filmed and the stunning Wawel Royal Castle which sits perfectly on top of a hill overlooking the city.
Travel
Krakow main railway station is within easy reach, providing services to a range of national and international destinations. The city has an extensive public transport network comprising buses and trams. Much of the historic Old Town is pedestrianised, but with rickshaws and horse-drawn buggies available.
John Paul II International Airport Kraków-Balice is approximately 11km away from the city centre, with direct trains to the Main railway station.
