Location
The apartments are located in the popular Jordaan district, an area famous for its art galleries, shops, restaurants, outdoor cafés and canals. The Noordermarkt, host to weekly open air antique and food markets, and Haarlemmerstraat, the popular shopping street, are just steps from the apartments. The Singel canal, one of the largest in Amsterdam, is nearby and offers a perfect venue for a leisurely stroll. Key sights and attractions including Dam Square, Leidseplein and the Bloemenmarkt are easily reached either on foot or by bicycle.
Travel
The ideal way to get around Amsterdam is by bicycle, the favoured mode of transport of many of the locals. There are plenty of places to hire bikes from around the city. Alternatively, Amsterdam boasts a comprehensive network of tram, bus, train and metro systems. Centraal Station, the transport hub of Amsterdam, is less than a ten minute walk from the apartments. Nieuwe Willemsstraat tram and bus stop is just a short walk away and Veer de Ruyterkade ferry stop is close by.
Amsterdam Schiphol International Airport is within easy reach, about 18km away.
