Location
The apartments are located in the popular Jordaan district, an area famed for its abundance of galleries, shops, outdoor cafés, canals and weekly markets. Many of the city's famous sights and attractions including Dam Square, the Anne Frank House and Haarlemmerstraat, often regarded as the best shopping street in all of the Netherlands are nearby and Leidesplein, the Royal Palace and Bloemenmarkt, are within easy reach.
Travel
The ideal way to get around Amsterdam is by bicycle, the favoured mode of transport of many of the locals. There are plenty of places to hire bikes from around the city. Alternatively, Amsterdam boasts a comprehensive network of tram, bus, train and metro systems. Centraal Station, the transport hub of Amsterdam, is less than a ten minute walk from the apartments. Marnixplein tram and bus stop is just a short walk away and Veer de Ruyterkade ferry stop is close by.
Amsterdam Schiphol International Airport is within easy reach, about 18km away.
