Location
The apartments are located in the popular Jordaan area of Amsterdam, which is home to a large number of art galleries, cafés, restaurants and boutiques. Haarlemmerstraat, regarded as the best shopping street in the Netherlands, is a stone's throw from the apartments. Other nearby attractions include Noordermarkt, Dam Square and Waterlooplein.
Travel
The ideal way to get around Amsterdam is by bicycle, the favoured mode of transport of many of the locals. There are plenty of places to hire bikes from around the city. Alternatively, Amsterdam boasts a comprehensive network of tram, bus, train and metro systems. Centraal Station, the transport hub of Amsterdam, is less than a ten minute walk from the apartments. Singel bus stop and Martelaarsgracht tram stop are just a short walk away and Veer de Ruyterkade ferry stop is close by.
