Location

The San Marco Holiday Apartments are located in the heart of Venice and close to many of the main sights and attractions. Just minutes away are St Mark's Square, Palazzo Grimani and the Grand Canal. Doge's Palace, the Bridge of Sighs, and the Rialto market are all within easy reach.

Travel

Venice can be reached by road, and cars parked at the entrance to the city in Europe's largest car park. The Venezia-Santa Lucia train station is within easy reach of the apartments, approximately 40 minutes away by foot. The nearest airport is Marco Polo International Airport on the mainland, with regular waterbuses to the city.

Transportation around Venice is entirely by water or foot. The famous gondolas are mostly used by tourists, with locals preferring to use motorised waterbuses called "vaporetti".
