Location
The Gladiator Apartments lie in an area that was once the site of a gladiatorial school, in the shadows of the great Colosseum providing a fantastic view and ambience. Many of the main attractions such as the Roman Forum, the Monument to Vittorio Emanuele II and the Fountain of Naiads are within walking distance. Other must-see sights such as St Peter's Basilica (within the Vatican City) are just a few stops away on the metro.
Travel
Roma Termini, the main railway station, is within easy reach, offering regular services throughout Italy as well as daily international services to Paris, Munich and Basel. Rome also has a metro, bus and tram system. Traffic is limited in the very centre of Rome, so walking may be preferable.
Rome Leonardo da Vinci Fiumicino Airport is the main airport, with some flights using Rome Ciampino Airport.
