Location
Located in the Monti District, famed for it's many unique boutiques shopping is a must when staying in the Tintoretto Apartments. If, however, shopping doesn't take you fancy the many famous landmarks of the city are on your doorstep. The Colosseum, Roman Forum and the Monument to Vittorio Emanuele II are all within just a short stroll of the apartments. The city offers a wide range of bars cafés and restaurants, and with the main railway station nearby a wide range of day trips are possible.
Travel
The apartments are just a short walk away from Roma Termini, the main railway station, which offers regular services throughout Italy as well as daily international services to Paris, Munich and Basel. Rome also has a metro, bus and tram system. Traffic is limited in the very centre of Rome, so walking may be preferable.
Rome Leonardo da Vinci Fiumicino Airport is the main airport, with some flights using Rome Ciampino Airport.
